MediaTek just announced Helio P25, its latest SoC in the Helio P series. It was unveiled in China back in September last year, is based on 16nm TSMC process technology and has MediaTek Imagiq Image Signal Processor (ISP) technology same has P20, but this has up to 13MP dual camera support optimized for Color + Mono de-noise as well as real-time shallow DoF bokeh and Video HDR with full preview. Meizu schedules an event on February 15, m5s with fast charging, metal body expected

Meizu today sent out invites for a new smartphone launch event in China on February 15th, a day after Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4X event. Meizu is expected to introduce m5s, successor to last year’s m3s that got certified by TENAA back in December. According to the teaser the smartphone will come with improved fast charging, however the design is expected to be same as m3s.
