Samsung Galaxy Assured and Galaxy Forever plans launched in India

Samsung has launched two new programs in India that are aimed at enticing customers to own a Galaxy Smartphone, called Galaxy Assured and Galaxy Forever. Jio Platforms to raise Rs. 1894.50 Crore from Intel Capital

Reliance Jio has announced that Intel Capital, investment arm of Intel Corporation will invest Rs. 1,894.50 crore in Jio Platforms at an equity value of Rs. 4.91 lakh crore and an enterprise value of Rs. 5.16 lakh crore. Motorola has announced OneFusion, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone, after the OnePlus Fusion that was introduced last month. It packs a 6.5-inch Max Vision HD+ display, is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform with 4GB of RAM. It has a plastic body with a glossy finish, curved edges, and a noticeable chin at the bottom. There’s also a physical rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. JioMeet video conferencing app launched, offers unlimited video chat with up to 100 participants

After testing it in May, Reliance Jio has officially launched its JioMeet cross-platform video conferencing app in a move to take on Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and other video chat apps. The app works on Android, iOS, Mac, Windows, SIP/H.323 systems as well as Chrome and Firefox browsers on desktop. OnePlus just launched its new OnePlus Y1 and U1 series of TV in India, as it had announced. There are three models — OnePlus TV Y1 32-inch HD and 43-inch Full HD and the OnePlus TV U1 55-inch 4K TV model. These feature 93% DCI-P2 Color Gamut and gamma engine, which the company calls OnePlus Cinematic Display. These run Android TV 9.0 with built-in Chromecast, Google Play and Google Assistant.

Facebook unintentionally shares user data with developers of infrequently used apps

In a blog post, Facebook has revealed that they discovered an issue where some developers were receiving user details even if the user did not use their apps for 90 days. Facebook has stated that they fixed the issue and will continue investigating to ensure no other guidelines have been violated.
