Redmi K40 Pro+ with 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 888, 108MP triple rear cameras, Redmi K40 Pro and Redmi K40 announced

Xiaomi just announced Redmi K40, K40 Pro and K40 Pro+ smartphones in China as it had announced. These pack a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED screen with MEMC,  120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate, DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR10+, 8,192 levels of dimming and 2.76mm ultra-small punch-hole that houses a 20MP camera. The K40 is powered by Snapdragon 870 SoC and the Pro models are powered by Snapdragon 888 5nm SoC, both supporting up to 12GB of RAM.

ZTE shows off 2nd generation under-screen camera and in-display 3D face recognition tech

Last year, ZTE became the first smartphone manufacturer in the world to release an under-under-display camera smartphone globally, called the Axon 20 5G. The company has now unveiled their second generation version of their under-screen camera technology at their MWC, Shanghai booth.

OnePlus 9 Lite / 9E could launch as OnePlus 9R alongside OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro in March

A rumour from December last year said that OnePlus 9 Lite will launch in early 2021 along with OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. A recent rumour said that the phone will be called as OnePlus 9 SE. Samsung could release Exynos-powered Windows 10 laptops in H2 2021

Samsung is reportedly developing a Windows 10 PC that is based on the ARM architecture and running their in-house Exynos processor, which could be Exynos 2200. The device is expected to be launched later this year, likely during the second half, and will have integrated AMD GPUs inside.

HP to acquire gaming peripherals company HyperX for $425 million

HyperX, a company well known for their high-quality gaming peripherals and products, has been acquired by HP for an agreement of $425 million. HyperX was previously owned by computer peripherals maker Kingston and will now move their entire gaming peripherals division over to HP once the deal is closed in Q2 2021.

Red Magic 6 gaming phone with 165Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 888, 120W fast charging to be announced on March 4

ZTE’s nubia brand recently confirmed that Tencent Red Magic 6, the company’s new gaming phone will be announced on March 4. Today it said that it will come with the first 165Hz refresh rate OLED screen on a phone and will feature 400Hz touch sampling rate. This is a slight upgrade compared to 144Hz refresh rate screen in the predecessor. The teaser image also confirms a small bezel on the top for the front camera.
