SHARP today announced AQUOS S2, its latest smartphone at an event in China, as it had promised. 5.5-inch (1080 x 2040 pixels) Full HD+ display with 84.95% screen-to-body ratio. It uses FFD (Free Form Display) technology to make small holes precisely in the screen for front camera and receiver. The fingerprint sensor that is present below the screen is just 3.6mm, making it the world’s narrowest fingerprint identification module. LG V30 with FullVision display with narrow bezels, dual rear cameras surface in videos

LG is all set to introduce it flagship V30 smartphone later this month at the IFA. Today live images of the phone has surfaced on HitRecord, a forum that was running a contest. This shows the phone’s 6-inch (1440 × 2880 pixels) QHD+ OLED FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio and narrow bezels. As revealed earlier, the phone doesn’t have a secondary display. It is said to come with a floating bar to provide quick access to shortcuts and notifications. OnePlus just introduced the Soft Gold Limited Edition OnePlus 5 smartphone, as expected. It uses advanced sandblasting process, so the finish of the Soft Gold OnePlus 5 is 30% finer than that of previous OnePlus Soft Gold devices, said the company. It is priced at Rs. 32,999, same as the Slate Gray 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version and will be available from Amazon.in and oneplusstore.in starting August 9th at 12:00 AM. It has a metal frame and bumper to protect against shock, abrasion, tilting or twisting and will be exclusively available from AT&T for a limited time. It has Bixby assistant, similar to the S8 series of phones, packs a shatter-resistant 5.8-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED screen with 18.5:9 aspect ratio, 4,000mAh battery and has fingerprint and iris scanners. OnePlus 3 and 3T OxygenOS beta update brings parallel apps feature, bug fixes and optimizations

OnePlus has started rolling out new OxygenOS open betas (Beta 12 for OnePlus 3T and Beta 21 for OnePlus 3) for the 3 and 3T phones that brings several new features including new parallel apps feature that lets you run a parallel version of the same app using a separate account.
