Vu just launched its first Android TV range in India, as it had promised. These TVs come in 43-inch (43SU128) , 49-inch (49SU131) and 55-inch (55SU134) sizes and have 4K UHD resolution. These come with Vu ActiVoice built into the remote for voice search, browse and select in 88 languages and also comes with a standard remote. The company is calling it official Android TV since other unofficial TVs don’t come with voice search. The company has partnered with Netflix, Hotstar and ALTBalaji to offer certified VOD apps. 2018 is the year of notch in smartphones, after Apple introduced its iPhone X with a notch last year. Vivo has sent out invites for the announcement of X21 smartphone, successor of X20 that was introduced back in September last year. The company also confirmed in the invite that it will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor that first made its debut in the X20 Plus UD earlier this year.
Last week OPPO teased its upcoming R15 and R15 Plus with a notch display in image and a video that confirmed the design of the phone. It also confirmed that it will have a 6.28-inch 19: 9 full-screen AMOLED Super-V display with 1.78mm narrow frame and 90% screen-to-body ratio. Huawei’s Honor brand has announced that it has started rolling out a new software update to enable Face unlock feature in Honor 7X smartphone in India, as it had promised. Face Unlock for the Honor View 10 was released back in January and the Honor 9 Lite got the feature last month.

Huawei’s Honor brand just introduced the Honor 7C smartphone in China today. This directly competes with the Redmi 5 that was introduced back in December last year and will launch in India this week. Both these share almost similar specifications including a 18:9 display, Snapdragon 450, up to 4GB RAM, fingerprint sensor on the back and a metal back. Last week, we reported that newly launched Redmi Note 5 Pro had Low Volume output via Headphones issue, and Xiaomi quickly addressed the issue and rolled out MIUI 9.2.5.0 and updated security patch to February as well.
