Samsung introduced its first Galaxy Fold foldable smartphone last month and said that it will be available in April in Europe, UK and the US. The company at the launch event said that the phone uses new polymer layer that makes Galaxy Fold flexible and tough, built to last, and the hinge with multiple interlocking gears housed in a hidden enclosure offers a seamless closing and opening.

HUAWEI P30 Lite has gone official, after it surfaced last month. It is a version of Nova 4e that was introduced earlier this month. It has a 6.15-inch Full HD+ waterdrop notch display, is powered by Kirin 710 SoC with 6GB of RAM, GPU Turbo 2.0, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.0, has a 24-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots as well as 8-megapixel 120° ultra wide-angle lens.
HUAWEI at its Paris event introduced HUAWEI Watch GT Active and Elegant Editions, with an improved design and a new bezel pattern color compared to the Watch GT Sports and Classic Editions that were announced back in October last year and launched in India earlier this month. It has a Leica quad-lens camera with 40-megapixel RYYB sensor, a 20-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 8-megapixel sensor with telephoto lens for 5x loss-less zoom with a periscope and a ToF depth sensing camera. It also has 10x hybrid zoom and 50x digital zoom. It can capture low light photos with up to ISO 409600. It has a 32-megapixel camera on the front. It packs a 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED curved glass dewdrop notch display, is powered by an Octa-Core HiSilicon Kirin 980 7nm SoC and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with Emotion UI 9.1. It has a Leica triple-lens camera with 40-megapixel RYYB sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and an 8-megapixel sensor with telephoto lens with for 3x zoom. It can capture low light photos with up to ISO 204800, two times more than the P20.
HMD Global has scheduled an event on April 2nd in Taiwan where the company will introduce new X71 smartphone. This got certified by Taiwan’s NCC with the model number TA-1167 and could be introduced as Nokia 8.1 Plus for the global markets since this is expected to be the successor of Nokia 8.1. It has up to 8GB of RAM, runs Android Pie with Samsung One UI, features a 32-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, secondary 5-megapixel camera for portrait shots and an 8-megapixel 123° ultra wide-angle lens.
