ASUS Zenbook Flip S, Zenbook Flip 13, VivoBook S and more with 11th Gen Intel Core CPUs launched in India

ASUS India has announced new updates to their consumer lineup of  Zenbook and VivoBook laptops, bringing the latest 11th Gen Intel Core CPUs and offering both the Intel Xe GPU options or up to NVIDIA GeForce MX450 GPU. ASUS also launched an Intel Evo verified flagship — the Zenbook Flip S, which is their lightest laptop with a 4K UHD NanoEdge OLED HDR display.

Google Chromecast with Google TV to get Apple TV app soon

Google announced the Chromecast with Google TV back in October, 2021, with support for 4K HDR streaming and Dolby Vision. Now, Google has announced that, sometime early next year, the Chromecast with Google TV will support the Apple TV app, giving users access to the Apple TV+ paid subscription.

Google introduces support for more Indian languages across features in Search, Maps and more

During their L10n event that was held back in July 2020 in India, Google talked about increasing their focus on improving the accessibility of their services, specifically language barriers for the incredibly diverse Indian user base. As part of this effort, Google has now announced support for new languages in many elements of Search results, and in more apps such as Google Maps and Lens.

Google, Qualcomm partner to offer up to 4 years of Android updates

Google launched Project Treble with the aim of reducing the fragmentation of the Android ecosystem across various smartphone manufacturers and devices. Instagram Lite app with size less than 2MB is coming back starting from India

Facebook has begun rolling out a new Lite version of Instagram app to Indian smartphone users as an attempt to expand their user base and reach more people in India. The app size is really small, less than 2MB and is claimed to provide the core Instagram experience that will be able to run fast and smooth on low-powered smartphones. It initially rolled out in Mexico back in 2018, but Facebook pulled the app later.
