Xiaomi announces MIUI 11 Global Stable Beta testing for various devices


Xiaomi announced the latest iteration of its own proprietary Android skin MIUI, dubbed MIUI 11 along with Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro back in October in India. The company claims to have rolled out MIUI 11 Global Stable update for as many as 27 devices in just 47 days in a 4-staged rollout schedule.

The company has a tradition of involving users in MIUI testing for their devices and in case you want to explore new MIUI features before everyone else, there is good news for you as Xiaomi is looking for MIUI Stable ROM testers for various devices, you can apply here to be a part of the MIUI testing team in case you’re interested. As per the recruitment thread posted on Mi Community, the company is looking for MIUI 11 Global Stable testers for the following devices,

  • Redmi K20
  • POCO F1
  • Redmi Note 8 Pro
  • Redmi Note 8
  • Redmi Note 7 Pro
  • Redmi Note 7S
  • Redmi Note 7
  • Redmi Note 5 Pro
  • Redmi Note 5
  • Redmi 8
  • Redmi 8A
  • Redmi 7
  • Redmi 7A
  • Redmi 6 Pro
  • Redmi 6
  • Redmi 6A
  • Redmi Y3
  • Redmi Y2

Xiaomi has officially not mentioned anything about the Android version, but it will not be wrong to assume that these testers will be amongst the first to get Android 10 on their devices since some of the above-mentioned devices are already confirmed to receive Android 10 update in China.

The recruitment is open to all users with limited slots, users are also supposed to install an instant messenger Telegram and join the telegram group to discuss bugs with other testers and team. The deadline for applying for the above-mentioned devices is 9:00 PM, 29th Dec, the selection of users will be based on a first-come, first-serve basis.
