Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 shows up in the wild

dday.it, an Italian site has managed to get their hands on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 ahead of the MWC. First specifications of the Note 8.0 (GT-N5100) surfaced last week, and the Samsung CEO confirmed the Galaxy Note 8.0 for MWC 2013, earlier this week. The device in these grainy hands on images resembles the image that surfaced couple of days back, but this has a hardware home button, capacitive touch buttons for menu and back on either sides, similar to the Galaxy S3. Even this has a ear piece at the top, but the Samsung logo is present blow the ear piece instead of bottom. It would also have S Pen support according to previous rumors. Lenovo IdeaTab A2109 hands-on

Lenovo showcased the IdeaTab A2109 at the Consumer Electronics Show 2013 in Las Vegas. We got some hands-on time with the tablet that is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. The tablet has a 9-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) HD display with 16:10 aspect ratio which is pretty good. It runs on Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) and has 1.4 watt dual speakers and SRS WOW TruMedia audio enhancement for clear audio output.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 image surface, confirmed for MWC

First image of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has surfaced online, specifications of the Note 8.0 (GT-N5100) surfaced last week. Samsung CEO JK Shin confirmed the Galaxy Note 8.0 for MWC 2013 unveiling yesterday. According to this image, Note 8.0 looks like an enlarged version of the Galaxy S3, which differs from the design of the Galaxy Note 10.1. It would include the S Pen stylus support similar to the Galaxy Note 10.1 (Note 800) and would also have a ear piece for voice calling, similar to the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (Tab 2 310). Sony XPERIA Tablet Z announced for Japan

The XPERIA Tablet Z which was rumoured to launch at CES 2013 has finally got officially announced for the Japanese market today. This sexy looking Android tablet is barely 6.9mm thick and weighs around 495 grams. It is also dustproof and waterproof to a certain extent. The display is 10.1 inches in size and features the Mobile Bravia Engine found on most Sony mobile products these days. The resolution on the display is an impressive 1920×1200 pixels.The design looks very similar to the XPERIA Z and ZL smartphones we saw at CES 2013. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 (GT-N5100) specs surface, might be announced at MWC

Samsung GT-N5100 that was spotted in GLBenchmark website last month has got a name. According to SamMobile, Samsung is planning to unveil the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 (GT-N5100) at MWC 2013 next month. It would have a 8.0-inch (1280 × 800 pixels) TFT Super Clear LCD display and run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It would come with a 5MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front-facing camera.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z specs surface, 10.1-inch Full HD display, 1.5 GHz quad-core processor


Sony Xperia Tablet Z, the company’s new tablet is rumored to release soon, according to a new leak on Twitter. Acer has launched the ICONIA B1, the company’s first affordable Android tablet in India. It was announced last week at CES 2013. It comes with a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive multi-touch display, runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Mediatek MT 8317T processor. Asus MeMO Pad 7-inch tablet running Android 4.1 announced

Asus has announced the MeMo Pad, their new affordable 7-inch tablet after the CES 2013. The Asus MeMO Pad has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive multi-touch display and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), similar to the Acer Iconia B1-A71 that was announced at CES last week, but this tablet is powered by a 1GHz WonderMedia PRIZM WM8950 processor instead of a dual-core Mediatek processor. It has a 1MP front-facing camera with BSI sensor, 720p HD video capture at 30 fps. It has non-slip diamond-patterned finish at the back. Byond Tech has launched Mi-book Mi7, the company’s first 7-inch tablet with 3G support and voice calling features. Byond launched Mi-book Mi5 , a 7-inch tablet last year with 2G voice calling support last year, but the Mi-book Mi7 has a better 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive 5-point multi-touch display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and comes with a 2MP rear camera, VGA front-facing camera. It also comes pre-loaded with office suite.
