At an event in China, HUAWEI announced P50E smartphone, after introducing the P50 and the P50 Pro phones back in June last year. It has a flat 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate, support for 1,440Hz PWM dimming, a punch-hole screen with a 13MP front camera, but this replaces the Snapdragon 888 SoC with Snapdragon 778G, but it only has 4G support, same as the P50. Earlier this year, AMD unveiled the Ryzen 7 5800X3D desktop processor, which is their first processor to feature their 3D V-Cache technology. The processor is going on sale from April 20th, and along with it, AMD has introduced 6 new SKUs that will join the ‘Zen 3’ and ‘Zen 2’ family of processors.

After rumours, OPPO has confirmed the launch of K10, the company’s latest smartphone in the K Series in India on 23rd March 2022. OPPO said that it is looking to initiate an online-focused strategy and build a direct relationship with its online consumers via e-commerce platforms with the K10, so the phone will be available on Flipkart, OPPO online store and select retail stores. Back in January 2020, Google revealed that they were working on bringing support for Steam to Chrome OS. After more than 2 years, Google will soon be testing an alpha-quality version of Steam on Chrome OS in the Dev channel. The test will be available only for select Chromebooks to begin with.

Samsung today announced that it will invest INR 1,588 crore in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai, to build a new compressor manufacturing plant. Sriperumbudur is one of two Samsung factories in India, having been established in 2007. The company and the government of Tamil Nadu today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the new plant, which would develop and improve the state’s component ecosystem.
