Samsung Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 Android Pie One UI update starts rolling out in India

After the Android Pie update for Galaxy M30 earlier this week, Samsung has started rolling out Android 9.0 (Pie) One UI 1.1 update for the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 smartphones in India, few days before it had promised. These phones were launched in January running Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Samsung Experience 9.5. Apart from the One UI visual changes, there are many other changes and new features including new adaptive themes for the keyboard that change based on the app you’re currently using, Scene Optimizer for the Camera app, and more. Realme X will be launched in India in second half of 2019 confirms CEO, price hinted

Realme has been teasing the launch of the company’s latest realme X smartphone in India for later this year, after it was introduced in China earlier this month. Now Realme India CEO Madhav Seth, answering the questions of Realme fans has confirmed that the phone will be launched in India in the second half of 2019, which starts from July.

YouTube Music Premium and YouTube Premium Student Plans launched in India starting at Rs. 59 per month

YouTube launched its YouTube Music Premium and YouTube Premium  plans for India back in March starting at Rs. 99 per month. Today it has launched student plan, making to up to Rs. 50 cheaper. As part of the new plan, all eligible college students will get discounted access to a world of music, global originals and movies — all ad-free at Rs. 59 for YouTube Music Premium and Rs. 79 for YouTube Premium, starting today.

OnePlus 7 will go on sale in India from June 4

OnePlus launched its latest flagship smartphones, OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro earlier this month. While the OnePlus 7 Pro went on sale from May 17th at Amazon.in, OnePlus.in and other offline stores, the OnePlus 7 was not available yet. Today, OnePlus India has officially announced that OnePlus 7 smartphone will go on sale in India from June 4th on Amazon.in.

MediaTek 5G 7nm SoC with built-in Helio M70 5G multi-mode modem announced

MediaTek at the Computex 2019 in Taiwan today announced the company’s first 5G SoC built using 7nm FinFET process technology and MediaTek Helio M70 5G modem built in. It uses the latest Cortex-A77 CPU, Mali-G77 GPU and MediaTek’s most advanced AI processing unit (APU).  The multi-mode 5G chipset is for 5G stand alone and non-stand alone (SA/NSA) sub-6GHz networks. It supports connectivity from 2G to 4G to bridge existing network access while 5G networks roll out globally.

OnePlus 6 and 6T OxygenOS beta update brings Zen Mode, Screen Recorder and more

OnePlus has released OxygenOS open beta update 11 for the OnePlus 6T and beta 19 for the OnePlus 6 that brings several improvements, including Zen Mode and Screen Recorder features that were introduced with the OnePlus 7 Series that were launched earlier this month. Zen Mode that runs for 20 minutes so you can receive only emergency calls and use minimal features. The update also adds pin-to-top feature for notification in India as well as several fixes and optimizations.
