Apple iPhone 12 production delayed, iPhone SE Plus announcement postponed: Report

MIUI 12 Dark mode 2.0: Smart wallpaper dimming, dynamic contrast and font adjustment

Xiaomi is all set to introduce MIUI 12 in China on April 27th. Today the company has started sharing the features it will bring that includes Dark Mode 2.0. MIUI got dark mode in early 2019, and with MIUI 12 it is now present in 42 built-in applications and 20 mainstream applications are deeply customized for MIUI’s dark mod, and several third-party applications now support non-linear colour invert algorithm that accurately identify interface elements, and dynamically inverts colours for each interface object. MIUI 12’s invert colour algorithm is based on Lab, HSV colour space, and the inverse colour adaptation is wider and more natural. Netflix brings “Screen Lock” button for its Android app

Netflix has been rolling out a neat little feature to its android app users called Screen Lock, which as you might have guessed, locks the screen UI elements when viewing content on the app. It can helpful to prevent accidental screen touches that can sometimes lead to fast forwarding unnecessarily, skipping to the next episode or deactivate/activate subtitles.

Airtel further extends prepaid validity till May 3; Vodafone Idea extends validity for feature phone users [Update: Jio and BSNL]

Update: 21st April 2020 – Following the announcement by Airtel and Vodafone IDEA, now BSNL and Reliance Jio have announced validity extension for prepaid users. Unlike Airtel which has increased validity only for limited number of users, Jio is extending incoming call validity for all users. Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G with 50x zoom and MIUI 12 to be announced on April 27

Xiaomi today announced that it will introduce Mi 10 Youth Edition (Lite) 5G smartphone and MIUI 12 at an online event in China on April 27th. The Mi 10 Lite 5G is the cheaper version of the Mi 10 that was introduced in Europe last month, but the company said that it will go on sale only in early May.
