Dell introduced new Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8 tablets running Android 4.4 (KitKat) back in June. Now these tablets are available in India from official Dell website. The Venue 7 has a 7-inch HD (1280×800) display, powered by a dual-core Intel Atom (Z3460) processor, while the Venue 8 comes with a 8 inch full-HD (1920×1200) display and a dual-core Intel Atom (Z3480). Both the tablets have 1 GB RAM with 16GB inbuilt storage that can be expanded upto 64GB via microSD slot. Nokia launched the Lumia 930 smartphone in India earlier this month at a price tag of Rs. 38,649. The Lumia 930 comes to India months after the launch in several countries. It has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD ClearBlack AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, powered by a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS. After the 25% price cut for both Uber Black and uberX in Delhi, Uber has slashed rates for both these in Mumbai too by 25%. When Uber expanded to Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh and Kolkata, it slashed prices on both UberBLACK and uberX by 25% in Bangalore for a limited period. Today Uber has reduced uberX price by an additional 20%, so totally now users in Bangalore get 45% off on uberX fares. In a bid to boost global expansion, Xiaomi is migrating international user data outside of China. Data belonging to the privately owned company’s non-Chinese users will be moved in several phases to Amazon Inc servers in the United States and data centres in Singapore.

LG L45 Dual and F60 LTE smartphones have been listed on the official LG India website. The L45 Dual (X132) is an upgraded version of the L40 with the same 3.5-inch HVGA screen, similar size and Android 4.4 (KitKat), but this is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor, has a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 went on sale in several Asian countries last month. Manish Khatri from Mahesh Telecom reports that the smartphone will launch in India later this week priced at Rs. 21,499 (MOP) and the MRP would be Rs. 24,300. It packs a 6-inch HD ( 1280 x 720 pixels) display, powered by a quad-core Cortex processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Intex Technologies has launched Aqua Amaze, the latest smartphone in the Aqua series. It has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display based on one-glass-solution, runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. These specifications are similar to the Aqua Star HD that was launched last month, but this has a 1.4GHz Octa-Core processor, instead of a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. Samsung has officially reduced the price of the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S5 LTE smartphones in India. The Galaxy S5 was launched in April in India for Rs. 51500. Now the smartphone is available from the Samsung India eStore for Rs. 37500. The LTE version of the Galaxy S5 that was launched as Samsung Galaxy S5 4G in July for Rs. 53500 is available for Rs. 40300. Uber has announced a 25% price cut for both Uber Black and uberX in Delhi. This is effective immediately without any promo codes and is available for a limited period. This makes Uber almost as cheap as auto-rickshaw fares, says Uber.

Apple introduced the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus smartphones last month with new Apple A8 chips. These were launched in India last week. We already brought you the unboxing and the photo gallery of the iPhone 6, here we have its benchmarks. The Apple A8 chip in the iPhone 6 has dual-core custom ARMv8 64-bit cores clocked at 1.4GHz per core . It is based on 20nm HKMG process, compared to 28nm on Apple A7 chip. AOC, popular for its displays and monitors entered into tablet market with the launch of two new Android tablets under the Breeze category in India back in April 2013, now the company is back with another tablet and also plans to enter into the smartphone market next month, according to a report from ET. The AOC D70V50G that has been listed on the official website has a 7-inch display, runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), has 3G connectivity with voice calling capabilities and is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor.
