Kayak, the global travel search engine has officially announced its entry into the Indian market. The company lets people people search, plan and manage their travel. Kayak claims to operate with more than 40 international sites in 20 languages and powers 1.5 billion queries annually for travel information and displaying results from hundreds of airlines, 900,000+ hotels, along with rental cars, holiday packages, activities and millions of verified reviews. Lenovo just launched P2, the company’s latest ‘P Series’ smartphone and the successor of last year’s P1 smartphone in India, as it has promised. It packs a whopping 5100mAh battery with support for 24W quick charge. It promises up to 10 hours of usage in just 15 minutes of charge and can fully charge in under 90 minutes. You can also charge other phones using the phone and it also features one-key power saver, which puts the phone in ultimate power saver mode. It promises up to 32 days of standby and up to 78.69 hours of talk time on 4G.
Samsung just launched Gear S3 classic and Gear S3 frontier smartwatches in India, as it had promised. These were introduced IFA 2016 back in September last year, have a 1.3-inch (360×360 pixels) Circular Super AMOLED Always On Display with Corning Gorilla Glass SR+ protection, rotating bezel and IP68 ratings for water resistance. Lenovo wrapped up its 2016 with the launch of its mid-ranger K6 Note smartphone in the Indian market. In fact, this is the first smartphone under K-series to be available through offline channels. Huawei’s Honor brand introduced the Honor 6X smartphone for global markets last week at the CES 2017. It recently sent out invites for the launch of the smartphone in India on January 24th. Now it has confirmed that the phone will be available in India exclusively from Amazon.in. There is also a page for the phone on Amazon India, but it is not live yet. Xiaomi started its Mi explorer program last month, which ended recently. Yesterday it announced the explorer rankings. Today the company has sent out an invite for the launch of the new product on January 19th, which will likely be the Redmi Note 4. It was introduced in China back in August last year and will come with a Snapdragon processor in India instead of Helio X20 SoC.
