Intex in collaboration with Asahi DragonTrail launched a dual-SIM 4G smartphone dubbed the Intex Aqua S7 in India for Rs. 9,499. The highlights of the Auqa S7 are its 3GB RAM, solid DragonTrail display glass, and a Fingerprint Sensor. The phone is available across retail channels in the country with Reliance Jio 4G Welcome offer. It comes in Champagne, Dark Blue, Rose Gold and Silver colours options. Lava has launched P7+, the company’s latest smartphone and the successor of P7 that was launched earlier this year. It has a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera that also has an LED flash for capturing better selfies even in low lighting conditions.

Sony Mobile just announced a Rs. 10,000 price cut for the Xperia X smartphone, just after 3 months of its launch in India. The smartphone that was launched for Rs. 48,990 at the end of May is now available for Rs. 38,990 (MRP). It is available in stores for as low as Rs. 36,900.

Vodafone 4G is now available in the prominent business and residential towns of Surat and will be rolled out across Gujarat over the next few months. Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of the Reliance Industries at the company’s AGM launched Jio services earlier today, which will be available for all starting from September 5. Here is a look at its plans in detail. All the plans come with free unlimited local and STD voice calls to any network, including roaming across India so you just pay for the data. “Jio will put an end to voice call charges in India. No Jio customer will ever have to pay for voice calls again,” said Mukesh Ambani.
After testing the network for a few months, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of the Reliance Industries at the company’s AGM today announced that Jio will be available for all from September 5th.
