A week after updating the Angry Birds seasons and Angry Birds Go!, Rovio has updated the Angry Birds Star Wars II with 30 new levels in the Master Your Destiny episode. In this episode, you play Jedi Youngling or Sith Hopeful and rise the ranks. You can choose to be bird or pig from your saved characters or by scanning your Telepods. Modern Combat 5: Blackout for Android, iPhone and iPad launching on July 24th

After teasing the next iteration of the Modern Combat for over an year, Gameloft has finally announced that it would launch the Modern Combat 5: Blackout on July 24th. Recently Gamelof announced that the game would have a unified game progression for both single and multiplayer games and four soldier classes. It also revealed the teaser trailer of the game ahead of E3 2014. This would bring innovative new features and mechanics. Flappy Bird clone Flopsy Droid lands on Play Store for Android Wear

Flappy Bird, the popular mobile gaming sensation that took the world by storm was taken down by the creator in February this year. However, in May there were reports that the game is making is way back in August with multiplayer capabilities. In the meantime clones of the game that was fetching $50,000 a day through Ad revenue were adding on the app stores.

Disney launches LINE: Disney Tsum Tsum puzzle game for Android, iPhone and iPad

Disney has tied up with Japan’s LINE Corporation to launch the popular Disney Tsum Tsum puzzle game globally. This was published by LINE in Japan last year and holds the number 1 free app spot on both iOS and Android in Japan. Disney has also launched  stackable Tsum Tsum toys in select stores in North America and at Disney Parks. Last year Gameloft teamed up with LINE to launch LINE Let’s Golf game. Rovio announces Angry Birds Transformers

Rovio, creators of popular Angry Birds game has announced Angry Birds Transformers, their new game in the Angry Birds franchise. It will have new story and characters, in which the characters split into Autobirds and Deceptihogs. Rovio is also teaming up with Hasbro for Telepods similar to Angry Birds Star Wars and Angry Birds Go!, which will let you teleport your favorite character into the game. Angry Birds Epic released for Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows Phone

Square Enix released Hitman Go for Android yesterday, couple of months after releasing it for the iOS. Today the company has announced a new game called Hitman: Sniper. This would be a competitive sniping game, almost similar to the Hitman: Sniper Challenge developed by Io-Interactive, unlike a puzzle game. Rovio has released a new update for Angry Birds Space that brings 40 new levels and several new features. This is the biggest update since the launch of the game 2 years back, says Rovio. This also adds new bonus levels, new vehicles such as Orion Crew Vehicle, OSIRIS-REx, Deep Impact and Dawn spacecraft, new Asteroids and Buzz Aldrin bird, named after the Apollo 11 moonwalker for ultimate destruction. Temple Run surpass 1 billion downloads

Temple Run has touched a new milestone by clocking over 1 billion downloads across all platforms since its inception in 2011. The popular mobile gaming sensation is a product of Imangi Studios and includes the original series and sequel Temple Run 2. This is only the second game after Rovio’s Angry Birds to cross 1 billion downloads.

Hitman GO turn-based puzzle game now available for Android

Square Enix released Hitman GO, a turn-based puzzle game for iPhone and iPad back in April. The game is now available for Android. This lets you strategically navigate fixed spaces on a grid to avoid enemies, infiltrate well-guarded locations and take out your target.
