Spider-Man Unlimited game released for Android, iOS and Windows Phone

Few months after releasing the Amazing Spider-Man 2 game, Gameloft has released Spider-Man Unlimited, an endless runner for Android, iOS and Windows Phone platforms as it promised. The game is available for free, but it comes with in-app purchases. In this new game, you need to help Spider-Man defeat the new Sinister Six as they use a dimensional rift to create an army of themselves to take over Manhattan. Rovio Stars’ Plunder Pirates for iPhone and iPad to release globally on September 18

Rovio Stars released Plunder Pirates, a strategy game for iPhone and iPad back in June. The game is developed by Midoki that was featured in the recent Apple keynote as one of the key companies supporting games for Metal and the game is published by Rovio Stars. Coming to the game, it is a online multiplayer strategy game. You need to build a 3D base, recruit a crew of pirates, explore uncharted waters full of monsters and treasure, and attack and plunder rival players online.

Angry Birds Stella released for Android, iOS and BlackBerry 10

Rovio has released Angry Birds Stella, a new game in the Angry Birds franchise aimed at female fans. This include the main Stella bird and her group who are on a quest to protect Golden Island from the greedy Bad Princess. The game is available for Android, iOS and BlackBerry 10, but there is no sign of Windows Phone app yet. The game is free to download and includes in-app purchases in the form of coins. Intel teams up with Unity to expand Android support for x86 devices

Intel has announced a strategic collaboration with Unity Technologies to extend Android support for Intel devices. Unity will add Android support for Intel’s current and future x86 chips. Both Unity 4 and 5 will be updated to include support for Intel Core and Intel Atom-based mobile processors.

Ninja UP! game arrives for Android

Ninja Up for Android

Gameloft introduced Ninja UP!, a 2D game for iOS last month. The game is now available for Android. The gameplay is similar to the popular to Doodle Jump game, but this needs you to draw new rope every time you want to spring upwards. Longer ropes might make for a safer landing area, but smaller the rope, you can jump higher. You can also draw to sideways, but if you fall the game is over.

Gameloft has released its new Ice Age Adventures for Android, iOS and Windows Phone platforms. In this game need to explore new worlds, battle memorable bosses, solve puzzles and take on exciting challenges in an effort to rescue the entire herd. You can play as Sid, Manny and Diego, characters from the Ice Age movies. These characters are voiced by the official actors from the films. Gameloft showcased the game at the E3 2014 back in June along with upcoming games like Asphalt Overdrive and Cars: Fast As Lightning. Earlier this month Gameloft announced that the Modern Combat 5: Blackout would launch on Android, iPhone and iPad on July 24th. Recently Gameloft has announced that the game would also launch on Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 this Thursday. Gameloft launched 16 games for Windows Phone 8 last year and would bring all upcoming HD titles to Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 platforms immediately after they launch. Disney India and Salman Khan launch Kick mobile game

Disney India along with Salman Khan have launched a mobile game as a promotional measure for its upcoming movie ‘Kick’. Available on Android the game includes a player that takes on the role of ‘Devil’ Salman Khan’s movie character. The iOS, Windows Phone and feature phone version of the game is also in the making and will release along with the movie.

Google to stop touting games with in-app purchases as ‘free’

Google will stop labelling games with in app purchases as free. The move comes from the company after pressure from the EU. Starting in late September, games will no longer be termed as free if they include in-app purchases and that it will also require payment verification before each purchase.

Nvidia working on Android game-streaming console: Report

Nvidia is working on a Android-based gaming console, according to a report from BBC. The un-named device will run on the company’s flagship Tegra K1 mobile chip that was announced in January this year.
