Ather 450x with built-in 4G and Bluetooth launched starting at Rs. 99,000 with additional monthly subscription packs
Ather just launched 450x smart electric scooter at an event in Delhi as it had promised. It comes with a range of 85 km with new 21700 battery, and one of the quickest accelerations of 6.5 seconds from 0-60 km/hr. It also has faster charging at 1.5km/ minute. The new model comes with built-in 4G and Wi-Fi support, thanks to Snapdragon 212 processor, compared to 3G in 450 and built-in Bluetooth as well as three new colors. Ather 450X upgraded version of Ather 450 launching on January 28
Update: January 17, 2020 — Ather today confirmed that it will launch the Ather 450X at an event in Delhi on January 28th. It will be streaming the official unveil. The invite says “Super quick, super intelligent and super connected, the super scooter is on its way”.

Ather 450 deliveries begin in Chennai, will launch in Hyderabad next
Ather Energy unveiledthe Ather 450 in Chennai back in July, and also started pre-orders. At that time it said that the first batch of vehicles will be delivered in September, but after a slight delay in the production line the company has started deliveries for first batch in Chennai today. Ather 450 will now cost Rs. 1.22 lakhs in Chennai after GST reduction
Update: August 1, 2019 — Ather today confirmed that the Ather 450 will cost Rs. 1,22,224 on road in Chennai after GST revision from 12% to 5% on electric vehicles that comes in effect from today. In Bengaluru it will cost Rs. 1,13,715.

Ather Energy raises $51 million in latest funding led by Flipkart’s co-founder Sachin Bansal
Ather Energy, the Bengaluru based company known for its range of electric scooters has been gradually expanding its presence in the country, with Chennai being the second city after Bengaluru. Today, the company raised an investment of $51 million in its latest round of funding, led by Flipkart’s co-founder Sachin Bansal’s investment of $32 million.
First Look at Ather Grid fast charging points in Chennai by Ather Energy
Ather Energy introduced its range of ‘Made in India’ electric scooters last year in India. The company debuted its launch in Bengaluru and promised to expand to many cities gradually. Ather 340 and 450 ‘Made in India’ smart electric scooters launched
Ather Energy has launched its ‘Made in India’ smart electric scooter in two models – 340 and 450. The company has also started pre-bookings for the scooters in Bengaluru on Ather’s website and experience centre, AtherSpace at Indiranagar will open for test rides on Friday, 8th June, as it had promised last month. Ather S340 ‘Made in India’ smart electric scooter pre-orders begin in June, production to start in July
Ather Energy, introduced S340 as the first ‘Made in India’ smart electric scooter couple of years back. Today, the company has finally announced that after 4 years, 55 prototypes, 50,000 km in on-road testing and over a million man hours, the S340 is finally ready for commercial production, which is expected to start in July, and the trial production has already begun. Earlier this year the company started receiving pre-production components from its 100+ suppliers and vendors and it also set up an assembly line in Whitefield, Bengaluru.
