Simple One Electric Scooter with 105km top speed, up to 236KM range, removable battery pack launched in India for Rs. 1.10 lakh

Simple Energy, a new start up, has launched the Simple One, the company’s first electric scooter in India.  It has a patented PMSM motor with up to 4.5 KW nominal power and 72NM peak torque that can go from 0 to 40kmph in just 2.95 seconds and has a top speed of 105kmph with 100/80-12F & (with 110/80-12) R tyres and 98Kmph with 90/90-12 F&R tyres. There are Four modes – Eco, Ride, Dash and Sonic. The scooter has IP67 ratings for the whole scooter, battery pack and the display and a gradability of 20°. Ola S1 and S1 Pro with up to 115kmph top speed, up to 181 KM range, voice recognition launched starting at Rs. 99,999

Ola Electric just launched its first electric scooter, the Ola S1 in India. There is also an S1 Pro model with upgraded specifications. It has a powerful Hyperdrive motor with up to 8.5kW peak power and 58NM peak torque that can go from 0 to 40kmph in just 3 seconds, 0 to 60kmph in just 5 seconds and has a top speed of 115kmph, faster than the Ather 450X. There are three modes – Normal, Sport and Hyper, and there is also cruise control that maintains the same speed with a press of a button. Ather 450X update brings Bluetooth-based Music and Call controls; Ather App revamped

Ather Energy launched the 450X last year with Bluetooth support, now the Atherstack has released its 13th OTA (Over the Air) update Atherstack Atom that enables the Bluetooth based Music & Call feature on the Ather 450X. Ather Energy begins production at 123,000 sqft. EV manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu

Ather Energy, makers of 450X electric scooter, has commenced production of their electric vehicles and batteries at their new EV manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. The factory is spread over 1,23,000 sq. ft. and will have an annual capacity of 1,10,000 scooters and 1,20,000 battery packs.

One such popular Indian electric vehicle company Ather Energy revolutionized the EV segment in India with the launch of Ather 450 EV back in 2018. Ather 450X Collector’s Edition Series 1 with black body color, translucent rear panels unveiled

Ather Energy has finally unveiled the Collector’s Edition Ather 450X, which it is calling Series 1, after it went on pre-order back in January. This limited edition version that comes with High-gloss, metallic, black body and translucent panels is only available for those who pre-ordered the 450X even before its unveil on January 28th 2020. Ather 450x to roll out in several cities starting from November

Ather Energy launched the Ather 450X with built-in 4G, Wi-Fi support, 85 km range, new 21700 battery, and one of the quickest accelerations of 6.5 seconds from 0-60 km/hr back in January, and said that it will go on sale from July 2020, after delays the company said that it will roll out from starting November 2020. Ather 450x with built-in 4G and Bluetooth launched starting at Rs. 99,000 with additional monthly subscription packs

Ather just launched 450x smart electric scooter at an event in Delhi as it had promised. It comes with a range of 85 km with new 21700 battery, and one of the quickest accelerations of 6.5 seconds from 0-60 km/hr. It also has faster charging at 1.5km/ minute. The new model comes with built-in 4G and Wi-Fi support, thanks to Snapdragon 212 processor, compared to 3G in 450 and built-in Bluetooth as well as three new colors. Update: January 17, 2020 — Ather today confirmed that it will launch the Ather 450X at an event in Delhi on January 28th. It will be streaming the official unveil. The invite says “Super quick, super intelligent and super connected, the super scooter is on its way”.

Ather 450 deliveries begin in Chennai, will launch in Hyderabad next

Ather Energy unveiledthe Ather 450 in Chennai back in July, and also started pre-orders. At that time it said that the first batch of vehicles will be delivered in September, but after a slight delay in the production line the company has started deliveries for first batch in Chennai today. Ather 450 will now cost Rs. 1.22 lakhs in Chennai after GST reduction

Update: August 1, 2019 — Ather today confirmed that the Ather 450 will cost Rs. 1,22,224 on road in Chennai after GST revision from 12% to 5% on electric vehicles that comes in effect from today. In Bengaluru it will cost Rs. 1,13,715.

Ather Energy raises $51 million in latest funding led by Flipkart’s co-founder Sachin Bansal

Ather Energy, the Bengaluru based company known for its range of electric scooters has been gradually expanding its presence in the country, with Chennai being the second city after Bengaluru. Today, the company raised an investment of $51 million in its latest round of funding, led by Flipkart’s co-founder Sachin Bansal’s investment of $32 million.

First Look at Ather Grid fast charging points in Chennai by Ather Energy

Ather Energy introduced its range of ‘Made in India’ electric scooters last year in India. The company debuted its launch in Bengaluru and promised to expand to many cities gradually. As promised, Ather Energy has started its work to launch the electric scooters in Chennai and has begun installing Ather Grid charging points across the cities. Ather 340 and 450 ‘Made in India’ smart electric scooters launched

Ather Energy has launched its ‘Made in India’ smart electric scooter in two models – 340 and 450. The company has also started pre-bookings for the scooters in Bengaluru on Ather’s website and experience centre, AtherSpace at Indiranagar will open for test rides on Friday, 8th June, as it had promised last month.
