Disney has tied up with Japan’s LINE Corporation to launch the popular Disney Tsum Tsum puzzle game globally. This was published by LINE in Japan last year and holds the number 1 free app spot on both iOS and Android in Japan. Disney has also launched  stackable Tsum Tsum toys in select stores in North America and at Disney Parks. Last year Gameloft teamed up with LINE to launch LINE Let’s Golf game. Facebook Slingshot now available globally

Facebook officially launched its self destructing messaging app Slingshot last week. The app which enables users to send and receive photos and 15 second videos that disappear after they are viewed was only available in the US. Today, the app has gone global is available for download worldwide for Android(Jelly Bean and KitKat) and iPhone (iOS 7).

Path launches Path Talk Messenger for Android and iPhone

Adobe Lightroom mobile arrives for iPhone, Sketch, Line and Photoshop Mix apps released for iPad

Adobe released Lightroom mobile, a companion app to the Lightroom desktop software for iPad back in April, now the company has released the app for iPhone users. In addition it also released three new apps – Sketch, Line and Photoshop Mix for the iPad. The company also began shipping new creative hardware called Adobe Ink, a new digital pen, and Adobe Slide, a new digital ruler that are sold together priced at US$199.99.

Unicode Consortium unveils 250 new emojis that focus on objects

The Unicode Consortium has just updated the Unicode Standard with new emojis, characters and symbols. The latest version 7.0 will bring 250 new emoji characters to iOS, Android and Windows Phone smartphones. This is possible as Apple, Google and Microsoft are among the nine full members of the Unicode Consortium.
