Evernote Peek for iPad v2.1 update brings new virtual cover

Evernote Peek app for iPad has been updated to version 2.1 that brings a new swipeable Virtual Cover. The Evernote Peek is a learning app designed for the iPad 2 Smart Cover. The Virtual Cover maintains the dynamics of a Smart Cover, but could be used with any iPad. Now, when you launch Peek, you’ll be able to swipe down a tab and select a Virtual Cover of your choice—it’s available in 10 colors. Choose your study materials, close the cover, peek to see the clue, open the cover more to see the answer. Yahoo has launched a new personalized living magazine app, Livestand for iPad that offers news and stories with images and video from 100  publications, including, ABC News, Forbes, Yahoo! News, Yahoo! Sports, Yahoo! Finance and more. You can also personalize the news and some of your basic needs such as weather, stocks, horoscope, and TV. Opera Mini 6.5 now available for iPhone, BlackBerry, Symbian S60 and Java Phones

Opera has launched their latest Opera Mini 6.5 with Data Usage view and bookmark import for iPhone, BlackBerry, Symbian S60 and Java Phones. The Opera Mobile 11.5 browser is now also available on Symbian S60. The Data Usage view keeps count of how much data you are spending and saving in total, or for a specific time frame. It is said to save 90% of data cost. The Opera Mini and Mobile for Android was launched last month. Adobe has launched the Adobe reader for iPhone and iPad that lets the users to view any PDF file including PDF Portfolios, password-protected PDF documents and Adobe LiveCycle rights-managed PDF files. Pulse introduces cross-device syncing

Pulse , the popular news reader app now allows users to sync their current state across devices and platforms (barring Windows Phone). The syncing feature is currently supported on iOS and Android but is expected to make its way to the recently launched Windows Phone app as well.
