Google Duo for Android clocks 5 million downloads in a week

Xiaomi just announced Redmi Note 4, the company’s latest smartphone in the Redmi series at an event in China. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 SoC and runs on MIUI 7 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) to focus in just 0.3 seconds, comes with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Sony confirms Android 7.0 Nougat update for Xperia X series, Z5 series and more

Google started rolling out Android 7.0 update for Nexus devices starting from this week. HTC was the first company to confirm Android Nougat update for some of its devices. Now Sony Mobile has confirmed Android 7.0 (Nougat) update for a range of smartphones. It doesn’t mention the Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z3 range, so it is not clear if these devices will get the update. Sony says that it has been working hard to bring the major update to as many of the devices as possible, so we can expect more devices to be added in the future.
