Sony Mobile announced a Rs. 10,000 price cut for the Xperia X smartphone back in September last year, just 3 months of its launch in India. Now the smartphone has received another Rs. 14,000 price cut in the country. It was launched for Rs. 48,990 at the end of May last year. After the second price cut it is now available for Rs. 24,990, which is still costly compared to other smartphones powered by a Snapdragon 650 processor. LG today sent out invite for the launch of 2017 ‘K Series’ smartphones – K3, K4, K8, K10 in India on February 22nd. HTC just sent out invites for the launch of its flagship U Ultra smartphone in India on February 21st. It was announced last month and comes with a 2-inch 520 PPI secondary touch-screen display above the main 5.7-inch Quad HD display. It has a glass finish on the front and back, and a metal frame and the rear glass is fully curved at all four edges. Asus launched Zenfone Go 5.0 (ZC500TG) a few months back, now the Asus Zenfone Go 5.0 LTE (ZB500KL) is available from offline stores in some cities. It was originally launched a few months back and packs a 5-inch HD screen, is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 64-bit SoC and has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the predecessor, but this has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and runs Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).
