Update: November 22, 2019: nubia has started rolling out new Eclipse Black version of the phone in 8GB+128GB version, and the price remains the same. It is not clear when the company is planning to launch the new color version in India.

ZTE’s nubia brand just launched the Red Magic 3S gaming smartphone India, as the successor of the Red Magic 3, which was launched back in June. It has a 6.65-inch FHD+ HDR AMOLED display with 90hz refresh rate, HDR support, but this is powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus with up to 12GB of RAM and features UFS 3.0 storage. It also retains active cooling system that uses liquid cooling technology along with an internal turbo fan with upgraded air inlet, making active cooling more efficient to dramatically improving thermal performance. Update: nubia has now confirmed that the Red Magic 3S will be launched in India on October 17th and will be available on Flipkart. It will come in Mecha Silver and Cyber Shade colors. It has also confirmed that the phone will be priced at Rs. 35,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version. We should know the price of the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage version and the sale date tomorrow.

It was introduced in China back in April and packs a 6-inch FHD+ display, is powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC with up to 8GB RAM and has a new vector aesthetic design 174.5° dot-cutting with 6.85mm at its thinnest point and air-cooled technology with nine heat radiation air slots on the back of the metal body to increase the heat transfer of the mobile phone to keep the phone cool when gaming. ZTE’s Nubia has introduced Red Magic Mars, the company’s latest gaming smartphone in China, as it had promised. It has a 6-inch Full HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display, is powered by Snapdragon 845 with up to 10GB RAM, includes both liquid cooling and air cooling to reduce the temperature by up to 13.2 degrees and improve CPU performance by up to 70%. It runs Android 9.0 (Oreo) with Redmagic OS on top, has a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, along with an 8-megapixel front camera with support for Face unlocking.
