Nubia Redmagic 5S gaming phone with 144Hz display to be announced on July 28

ZTE’s nubia brand today confirmed that Redmagic 5S, the company’s new gaming phone will be announced on July 28th. It will come with 144Hz refresh rate + 240Hz touch sampling rate and dual IC game Shoulder Trigger Buttons that have also been improved to have 320Hz touch refresh rate compared to 300Hz in the Redmagic 5G.

Nubia’s CEO Ni Fei has confirmed that the phone uses world’s highest thermal conductivity metal process-silver (ICE Ag) combined with a 4843mm² super large heat dissipation copper foil for heat dissipation, built-in 15,000 rpm high-performance centrifugal fan, air duct, high-performance thermal gel, and super large liquid cooling tube. This is more powerful than using an external cooling fan, said the CEO. It will feature LPDDR5 RAM and UFS3.1 storage, similar to the predecessor.

It supports 3.5mm headphone jack and has 30W PD fast charging. When playing games on the horizontal screen, you can connect wired headphones and play, and the charging port on the side will not hinder your gameplay, said the company.

We should know more details in the coming days, and the price when it goes official next Tuesday.
