Realme just launched the Realme 5, the company’s latest smartphone in the realme series, as it had promised. It has a 6.5-inch HD+ Mini-drop notch display with 78% screen-to-body ratio, which the company says is 30.9% smaller than the previous generation. It is powered by Snapdragon 665 11nm SoC with up to 4GB RAM and runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.0. Realme 5 quad camera phone to pack 5000mAh battery, will be priced less than Rs. 10000

Realme is all set to launch its new realme 5 and realme 5 Pro smartphones in India on August 20th. Flipkart has posted new teasers for the realme 5 quad camera smartphone that confirms main camera with f/1.8 aperture and 1.25μm pixel size,  119-degree ultra-wide lens, Super Macro and depth sensing portrait lens. Realme 5 series with quad rear cameras launching in India on Flipkart on August 20 [Update: New realme 5 Pro teaser]

Update: August 13 — realme has posted new teaser for the realme 5 Pro that says that it will be India’s first quad camera smartphone in the segment with a 48-megapixel main camera with Sony IMX586 sensor. The realme 5 is expected to come with a 13-megapixel or a 16-megapixel primary rear camera, even though it will retain the same ultra-wide sensor, Super Macro and depth sensing portrait lens.

Realme 64MP quad camera phone to launch in India before Diwali; two more quad camera phones coming this year

Realme, at its ‘Camera Innovation Event’ announced that it will launch its 64MP camera phone with quad rear cameras in India before Diwali. It also announced that quad camera is coming to realme series, realme pro series and realme X series, so the phones should be realme 5, realme 5 pro and realme X Pro, based on the teaser.

Realme to introduce world’s first 64MP Quad Camera technology on a smartphone in India on August 8

Back in June, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has confirmed that the company will be introducing world’s first smartphone camera with 64MP GW1 largest 1/1.72″ sensor and 1.6µm pixel. In addition, he also said that the phone will be launched in India first. Today the company has confirmed a separate ‘Camera Innovation Event’ in Delhi on August 8th to reveal world’s first 64MP Quad Camera on a smartphone.

Realme announces Project X beta testing for Realme 3 Pro, could be Realme OS

Realme, since its inception, has gained popularity in the country because of VFM offerings in the mid-range smartphone segment. Last month, in an episode of #AskMadhav, company CEO, Madhav Sheth, had confirmed that the company is working on Realme OS, and said that the company will have an official release once it is ready. Realme X offline sales begin August 3 across India, Spider-Man Limited Edition available offline from July 30

realme launched therealme X smartphone in India couple of weeks back starting at Rs. 16999. It went on sale starting from July 24th from Flipkart and Realme.com. At that time the company said that it will be available offline soon. Today it has announced that the realme X will be at all realme offline stores pan India from August 3rd, 2019.

Realme X with 6.53-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, up to 8GB RAM, in-display fingerprint sensor launched in India starting at Rs. 16999

Realme just launched the realme X smartphone in India, as it had promised. It was introduced in China back in May, and packs a a 6.53-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display from Samsung with 2.2mm narrow border on the top and 1.62mm ultra narrow bezels on the sides offering 91.2% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform with up to 8GB of RAM and new gel cooling that reduces the temperature up to 15.2% in one hour. It has a sixth-generation in-display fingerprint scanner.

Realme has launched Realme 3i, the company’s latest smartphone in the Realme 3 series, as it had promised. It has a 6.2-inch HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio screen with 2.05mm slim frame, 88.3% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by MediaTek Helio P60 12nm processor with up to 4GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) based on ColorOS 6.0, comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for portrait shots. Realme CEO takes a jab at Redmi 7A, calls Realme C2 ‘Desh ka Real Choice’

Just after the Redmi 7A launch in the country, Realme India CEO took it to Twitter to compare Realme C2 with ‘Smartphone A’ in a couple of tweets and referred to Realme C2 as ‘Desh ka Real Choice’ which was launched back in April. The specifications of the ‘Smartphone A’ in Madhav’s tweets resemble that of Redmi 7A, which Xiaomi is promoting as ‘Smart Desh ka Smartphone’.
