Realme Q with 6.3-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 712, up to 8GB RAM, quad rear cameras announced

Relme just introduced the realme Q smartphone in China, as it had promised. This is same as the Realme 5 Pro which was launched in India recently at Rs. 13999, Rs. 14999 and Rs. 16999, for 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128GB versions, respectively.

Realme XT with 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, 64MP quad rear cameras, in-display fingerprint scanner launching in India on September 13

Realme has finally confirmed that it will launch the realme XT smartphone in India on September 13th on Flipkart. The company also confirmed that it will feature Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It will be the first phone in India with 64-megapixel primary rear camera with 1/1.72″ Samsung GW1 sensor and f/1.8 aperture. It has a 8MP 118° ultra-wide angle lens with 1.12μm pixel size, f/2.25 aperture, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP camera for 4cm macro with 1.75μm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture are same. The phone also has AI scene recognition, Chrome boost, Super nightscape and Expert mode. There is also EIS support for video.

Realme smartphone with 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 730G, 64MP Quad rear cameras, 30W fast charging surfaces

Realme XT, the company’s first 64MP quad camera phone will go on sale later in India this month, now details about another realme smartphone has surfaced in China. We still don’t have the name of the phone yet, but the specifications of the phone that have surfaced reveals a similar 6.4-inch Samsung AMOLED water drop screen, 64MP quad rear cameras and a 4000mAh, but this is said to be powered by Snapdragon 730G, 32-megapixel front camera, next-generation in-display fingerprint scanner and a faster 30W VOOC fast charging, compared to 20W VOOC 3.0 charging in its current phones.

Realme releases kernel source for realme X

Realme has gained popularity since its inception because of VFM offerings in the mid-range smartphone segment. In July, it launched the Realme X, it’s most premium offering to date. It packs a 6.53-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display from Samsung with a sixth-generation in-display fingerprint scanner and 91.2% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform with up to 8GB of RAM.

Realme Q series smartphone with 48MP quad rear camera, Snapdragon 712 to be announced on September 5 [Update: Image]

Update: August 29, 2019 — realme has confirmed that one of the Q series phone will have a 48MP Quad rear cameras and Snapdragon 712 SoC and also posted an image of the phone. This looks like the realme Q will be a rebranded realme 5 Pro for China. It also hinted that the phone will start under 999 yuan (US$ 139 / Rs. 10,020 approx.).

Realme XT 64MP quad camera phone teased in official image, will be powered by Snapdragon SoC

Realme at the realme 5 series launch event last week confirmed that it will launch the realme XT with 64MP quad rear cameras in India in September. Today the realme China CMO Xu Qi Chase has posted an image of its 64MP Quad Camera phone without revealing the phone’s name. This should launch in India as realme XT since it has the same yellow ring around the first camera that we had seen on the prototype the company showcased at the camera event.

This also reveals a glass back with reflective patterns in White color, which looks different from current realme phones. There is no fingerprint scanner on the phone, so we can expect in-display fingerprint scanner and an AMOLED screen, similar to the realme X, but it is not clear if this will feature a pop-up front camera.

The CMO also confirmed that the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon SoC without revealing the model number. The Redmi Note 8 Pro, which also uses the same 64MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor will be powered by MediaTek Helio G90T SoC. In addition to the main 64MP camera, it willl feature Ultra wide angle, Ultra Macro and Telephoto lens. It will also have Expert Mode, Nightscape and Chrome Boost.

Yesterday the company posted a clue for the China launch event which hinted at September 4th launch date and Q Series, so the realme XT could launch in a different name in China. We should know more details in the coming days.

Realme Buds 2 with 11.2mm bass boost driver, dual tangle-free cable launched in India for Rs. 599

Realme at the realme 5 and realme 5 Pro launch event today confirmed that it will launch the realme XT, the company’s first 64-megapixel quad camera phone in September, after confirming earlier this month that it will launch before Diwali. Earlier rumors said that it will be called realme X Pro.
