Nike shifts focus to software, excited about Apple partnership

Nike recently dismissed rumors about its plan to shut down wearable division of FuelBand. Now, the company President and CEO Mike Parker has announced that Nike is looking to expand its partnerships with other companies, including Apple. Parker stated in a CNBC interview that the company is concentrating on software development as it looks to grow the userbase of its NikeFuel tracking system.

LG unveiled the L Series III lineup that includes L40, L70 and L90 at the MWC 2014 back in February and the LG L65 Dual was officially launched in Russia earlier this month, couples of months after the phone was unveiled at the MWC. Google has scooped up number of communication technology patents from Foxconn for an undisclosed amount, reports The Wall Street Journal. The Taiwanese based electronic manufacturer said that it has sold unspecified number of patents to Google.

Samsung’s latest flagship device, the Galaxy S5, was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona and eventually arrived in Indian shores earlier this week. With a sky high price of Rs. 51,500, we set out to find if the device is really worth the price. While we will let you know the conclusion in our full review of the phone, in the process, we took the really intriguing 16 MP camera for a spin. We had purchased the international variant in the US and tested the camera in and around San Francisco to see how it fared in different lighting conditions. Microsoft launches Remote Desktop Preview app for Windows Phone 8.1

Microsoft has released preview version of its Remote Desktop app for the recently announced Windows Phone 8.1. The company had launched the Remote desktop app on Android and iOS in October last year. It allows users to control your PC from a Windows Phone device while on the go, but it requires Windows Phone 8.1 that is currently available only for developers.
