After teasers, motorola India has officially confirmed the launch date of the motorola edge 70 pro+ on June 4th.

A central theme of the Edge 70 Pro+ campaign centers on high-end craftsmanship and specialized material engineering. Partnering with Pantone, Motorola will introduce three curated structural finishes designed to offer unique tactile experiences:
- Satin-Luxe Finish: A refined, smooth matte textured surface arriving in a deep maroon/wine Pantone Zinfandel colorway.
- Twill-Inspired Finish: A textured Pantone Blue Surf version sporting a subtle, woven fabric-like pattern.
- Sculpted Wood Finish: A Pantone Wood Gold option that incorporates a natural, linear wood-grain aesthetic.
The smartphone preserves the brand’s signature symmetric quad-curved front panel and minimalist framing, allowing it to remain ergonomically sound despite its complex internal hardware.
Thinnest Periscope Lens
The primary talking point of the upcoming release is its re-engineered camera matrix, which solves typical chassis thickness issues common to telephoto-heavy hardware.

Motorola has confirmed that the Edge 70 Pro+ features a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. Promoted as the “category’s thinnest” implementation, the periscope design enables extreme zoom capabilities without requiring a massive, protruding rear module.

It is said to pack a 6.7 to 6.8-inch 1.5K Quad-Curved 144Hz AMOLED screen and Turbo Power wired and wireless charging capabilities.
