Microsoft to release Cortana for Android and iOS: Report

Microsoft’s Cortana will be released for Android and iOS platforms as a standalone app, according to a report from Reuters. Cortana was released first on Windows Phone last year with the Windows Phone 8.1 update. Several apps had received support for Cortana since the release. Microsoft sues Kyocera over Android patent infringement

Microsoft has filed a patent lawsuit against Kyocera alleging that the Japanese electronics maker infringed some of Microsoft’s mobile phone patents, according to a report by Reuters.

It has a 5-inch HD ClearBlack IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS with Lumia Denim. It has a 5.7-inch HD display, comes with a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, but this is powered by the same quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Windows Phone 8.1.  It also comes in single SIM or dual SIM 4G and 3G variants.
