The LG L60 X145 went official earlier this month, now the LG L60 X-147, a variant of LG’s new L Series III smartphone has been listed on Amazon India for Rs. 7,990. It has a 4.3-inch WVGA screen, 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.4 (KitKat),  5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, VGA front-facing camera and has dual SIM support, similar to the LG L60 X145, but this comes with 1700mAh battery instead of a 1540 mAh battery. LG L Fino and L Bello smartphones with Android 4.4 announced ahead of IFA 2014

LG has unveiled two new smartphones, L Fino and L Bello in the L series. These run on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) and comes with premium UX features, similar to the LG G3, as it promised recently. The L Fino 4.5-inch WVGA IPS screen, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. The L Bello has a 5.0-inch FWVGA IPS screen, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1-megapixel front-facing camera. LG G3 UX features coming to mid and entry-level devices launching in H2 2014

LG introduced a flat UI and several new features along with its flagship G3 smartphone earlier this year. Today the company has announced that it would standardize the UI and the UX features across its mid to entry-level smartphones and tablets launched in the second half of this year. The new UI is already present in the new LG G Pad series and the G3 Beat smartphone. The company did not say if its current G series and L Series lineup would get an update with the new UI. LG grabs Red Dot awards for G3’s UI, Smart Keyboard and Knock Code

LG Electronics has grabbed nine awards at the 2014 Red Dot awards in Communication Design category. This includes Best of the Best awards for LG G3’s graphic user interface (GUI), Smart Keyboard and Knock Code. LG also grabbed awards for webOS Smart+ TV platform for its new approach to smart TVs and intuitive user interface. The LG G Flex, the company’s first smartphone with a curved display got Best of the Best award earlier this year. LG G Pad 8.0 LTE to roll out in Europe starting this week

LG unveiled the G Pad 7.0, G Pad 8.0 and G Pad 10.1 in the G Pad series back in May.The LG G Pad 7.0 started rolling out in Europe in June and the G Pad 10.1 started rolling out starting from the U.S. last month. Both these had only WiFi connectivity. Today LG has announced that it would roll out the G Pad 8.0 with LTE support in Europe starting from this week. LG G Flex price drops to Rs. 39999 in India

LG launched the G Flex, the company’s first smartphone with a curved display in India for Rs. 69,999, back in February earlier this year. Now the smartphone is available online Rs. 39,999, about Rs. 30,000 down from the launch price. It was announced  back in October 2013 and packs a 6-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Curved Plastic OLED display that vertically concave from top to bottom to a radius of 700mm, flexible battery and a self healing back. LG L60 with 4.3-inch display, 1.3 GHz dual-core processor and Android 4.4 goes official

LG L60, the company’s latest smartphone in the LG Series III Lineup has been listed on its official website in Russia, where it’s called L60 X145. It has a 4.3-inch WVGA screen, runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera, similar to the LG L65 Dual that went on sale in Russia back in April. But this is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, comes with 512MB RAM and packs a 1,540 mAh battery.

LG G3 A with 5.2-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 800 SoC and LTE-A launched in Korea

LG unveiled the LG G3, the company’s latest flagship smartphone with 5.5-inch Quad HD display back in May. It had Snapdragon 801 SoC clocked at 2.5 GHz and support for LTE-A up to 150Mbps. The company even launched the LG G3 Cat.6 in Korea with similar display, Snapdragon 805 and support for LTE-A up to 225Mbps. Today the company has launched LG G3 A, a new LG G3 variant with 5.2 inch IPS Full HD display and Snapdragon 800 processor, exclusively for Korean operator SKT. LG G3 Stylus spotted at FCC, expected to launch this quarter

The LG G3 Stylus was recently revealed in an official LG G3 Beat promo video. Now a fresh report from the Korean Times suggests that the phone will be a budget-friendly handset and not a flagship device like the LG G3.

LG’s G Watch isn’t best known for it’s charging feature; to be more precise, the G Watch’s charging pins have been known to corrode with use, which is a worrying sign. In fact, LG released a software update which they claim fixes the issue!

LG G3 Stylus, an upcoming LG smartphone has been revealed on official LG G3 Beat promo video. It shows the smartphone with a stylus, similar to the LG G Pro Lite. LG has not released a high-end phablet with a stylus like Samsung, which has the Galaxy Note series. This could happen with the upcoming G3 Stylus.

LG G Watch software update to fix hardware corrosion issues

LG’s G Watch is amongst the first Android Wear running devices out there and has achieved moderate success amongst the enthusiast circles. With early adoption comes a bit of a risk though and this was witnessed by an increasing number of users in the form of corrosion buildup on the POGO pins located at the back of the watch.
