LG V30 update with ThinQ AI camera, Q Lens, Q voice and more rolling out starting from Korea

LG introduced the V30s ThinQ at the MWC 2018 with integrated AI features like AI CAM, QLens and more. It also mentioned that these features would make their way to the original V30 and V30+. Keeping with the promise, LG has finally started rolling out the update to Korean users. A V30+ user who is also an Android Police reader in Korea has received an update that the ThinQ features. LG V30S ThinQ and 256GB V30S+ ThinQ launched in Korea, price revealed

LG announced V30S ThinQ , the company’s first ThinQ mobile device with integrated AI features ahead of MWC 2018 last month. Today the company launched these smartphones in for the South Korean market and also announced the price. LG’s next flagship smartphone with FullVision display with a notch surfaces in renders

Last week live images and video of the upcoming flagship LG smartphone surfaced from the MWC 2018 as G7 (Neo). Now based on the images, TechnoBuffalo has posted concept renders of the smartphone created by Benjamin Geskin. This shows iPhone X-like notch and earlier rumor said that it will feature a 6-inch (1440 x 3120 pixels) FullVision display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a whopping 900 PPI pixel density. There is a small bezel below the screen.

LG introduces new OLED and SUPER UHD HDR TV line-up with ThinQ AI and Dolby Atmos

LG at an event in Seoul has introduced a range of OLED and SUPER UHD TVs with ThinQ AI and advanced α (Alpha) processor. The large OLED display TVs with AI include W8, G8, E8, C8, and B8 with features like Picture-on-Wall, One Glass Screen, Picture-on-Glass, and Cinema Screen design. LG X4 with 5.3-inch display, fingerprint sensor, HD DMB TV announced

After introducing X4+ earlier this year, LG has introduced X4 (LM-X410S) smartphone in the ‘X series’ in Korea. It packs a similar 5.3-inch HD screen, is powered by Snapdragon 425, but this runs Android 7.1 (Nougat), has an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera.

LG said to have showcased its next-flagship in a private conference at MWC 2018 ahead of announcement in June

LG and Huawei backed out from announcing their flagships at the MWC 2018 earlier this week. However, according to a report from Ynet, the company is said to have showcased the upcoming LG flagship in a private conference at the MWC 2018 event. Going by the flake and how viral the video has become in the short period of time, we might actually be looking at the G7 indeed. LG just announced V30S ThinQ , the company’s first ThinQ mobile device with integrated AI features ahead of MWC 2018 next week. Apart from the A.I features, it has similar specifications of the V30, but this has 6GB RAM and comes in 128GB (V30S ThinQ) and 256GB storage (V30S+ ThinQ) variants. LG K8 2018 and K10 2018 series announced ahead of MWC

LG just announced new K8 and K10 series of smartphones for 2018 that includes K8 2018, K10 2018, K10+ 2018 and K10 α 2018 ahead of Mobile World Congress (2018) next week. Both the phones have HD display with  2.5D Arc Glass design. The K8 features a metallic design with metal U-frame, 13-megapixel rear camera technology found in the flagship LG G6, PDAF,  and an 8MP front camera that supports Bokeh when shooting selfies. LG’s 2018 flagship with 6.1-inch MLCD+ FullVision display, Snapdragon 845, new design said to be unveiled in June

It is already known that LG will be introducing an enhanced version of the V30 smartphone with A.I features at the MWC 2018 later this months, instead of G6’s successor. Now @evleaks is saying that the next LG flagship will be codenamed ‘Judy’ with a brand new design will be introduced in June. The phone is said to feature a 6.1-inch 18:9 FullVision display, but it will use a MLCD+ panel with white sub-pixel in RGBW matrix offering high, 800-nit brightness while consuming 35% less power compared to IPS LCD panels. After rumors, LG has announced new color variants for its flagship LG G6 and the mid-range LG Q6 smartphones in Korea. The LG G6 gets Moroccan Blue, Lavender Violet and Raspberry Rose color variants. This comes after the new Raspberry Rose color variant for the LG V30 that was introduced earlier this month and the other two color variants are already available for the V30. The new Raspberry Rose color variants of the phones will be a perfect gift for Valentine’s Day that is coming next month, says LG.

LG posts its biggest-ever revenue, highest yearly profits in 8 years in 2017; narrows smartphone losses in Q4 2017

LG Electronics has reported revenues of 16.96 trillion won (US$ 15.3 billion) for the fourth quarter that ended December 31, 2017, which is up 14.8% compared to the same quarter last year.
