Lenovo has launched the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro,  the company’s latest high-end Android tablet in Yoga series in India along with the Yoga Tablet 2 series. It has a 13.3-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) WQHD IPS Display, powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3745 Processor (up to 1.86 GHz) and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has four modes – Hold, Stand, Tilt or Hang and even has an integrated projector that can project content up to 50-inches. It features a powerful 8W JBL sound system with bass subwoofer located on the back. Lenovo to form new smartphone company in China next year

In a  bid to tap one of the largest smartphone markets, Lenovo has announced that it will set up a new smartphone company in China. The company will set up a new subsidiary next year on April 1 to focus on smart devices and Internet sales in China.

Lenovo A8-50, the company’s latest A series tablet is now on sale in India on Flipkart, after the A7-30 and the A7-50 tablets. It was unveiled earlier this year and packs a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) display, quad-core MediaTek processor and Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), which is upgradable to Android 4.4 (Kitkat). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Lenovo has launched the Vibe Z2 Pro, the company’s latest high-end smartphone in India. It was announced back in August, before the the Vibe Z2 was unveiled at the IFA. It packs a 6-inch ( 2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD display with ultra narrow bezels, powered 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 (8974AC) processor with Adreno 330 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Vibe UI 2.0. Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro with 6-inch Quad HD display launching in India on October 1st

[Update: Lenovo has scheduled an event on September 30th Delhi, where it is expected to launch the Vibe Z2 Pro smartphone first.]

Lenovo is all set to launch the Vibe Z2 Pro in India on October 1st. The company just sent a press invite for the launch event in Bangalore on Wednesday. The invite says Make way for the Pro and The Pro Awaits You, but the smartphone’s image clearly shows that it’s the Z2 Pro. Lenovo India has also teased the smartphone on their Facebook page and it is listed on the official Lenovo India website along with the Lenovo Vibe X2, but it is not clear if the company plans to launch the Vibe X2 at the launch event next week.

It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8382 SoC clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali 400-MP2 GPU and has 1GB RAM. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) multi touch IPS display.
