Lenovo A8-50, the company’s latest A series tablet is now on sale in India on Flipkart, after the A7-30 and the A7-50 tablets. It was unveiled earlier this year and packs a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) display, quad-core MediaTek processor and Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), which is upgradable to Android 4.4 (Kitkat). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
Lenovo has launched the Vibe Z2 Pro, the company’s latest high-end smartphone in India. It was announced back in August, before the the Vibe Z2 was unveiled at the IFA. It packs a 6-inch ( 2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD display with ultra narrow bezels, powered 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 (8974AC) processor with Adreno 330 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Vibe UI 2.0. Lenovo is all set to launch the Vibe Z2 Pro in India on October 1st. The company just sent a press invite for the launch event in Bangalore on Wednesday. The invite says Make way for the Pro and The Pro Awaits You, but the smartphone’s image clearly shows that it’s the Z2 Pro. Lenovo India has also teased the smartphone on their Facebook page and it is listed on the official Lenovo India website along with the Lenovo Vibe X2, but it is not clear if the company plans to launch the Vibe X2 at the launch event next week.
