HP has announced Spectre, which is currently the world’s thinnest laptop at just 10.4mm, thinner than 13.1mm MacBook. It has a 13.3-inch edge-to-edge 1080p scratch resistant edge-to-edge Corning Gorilla Glass display, is powered by 6th Core i5 or i7 processors, supports up to 8GB of RAM, up to 512GB PCIe SSD, has three USB Type-C connectors, two of which support Thunderbolt. HP launches Ultra-thin Envy 13, Pavilion 13 x360 and 3 new Pro series Windows 10 devices

Hewlett-Packard India on Wednesday unveiled six new computing devices in its consumer and commercial lineup. The two new consumer devices include the thinnest and lightest 13-inch notebook in Envy series dubbed the HP Envy 13, and a 13-inch convertible the HP Pavilion 13 x360. Both the devices come with latest 6th generation Intel Core-i processors and Windows 10. Company also launched the Star Wars Special Edition Notebook in the Pavilion lineup.

Hewlett-Packard officially files papers to split the company

Hewlett-Packard (HP) is going forward with the split following reports since last year. The company detailed its plans to split into two companies in a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, adding that it would complete the process by the end of the fiscal year 2015.
