The AI-powered Assistant which works with Google Home will now be available on three speakers –  Zolo Mojo by Anker, TicHome Mini by Mobvoi and the GA10 by Panasonic. Google ARCore brings augmented reality to millions of Android devices, takes on Apple ARKit

Google has introduced ARCore, a new software development kit for building augmented reality apps on Android. This brings augmented reality capabilities to millions of  Android phones without any additional hardware like Google’s Tango that uses several additional sensors. It also takes on Apple’s ARKit for iOS 11 that was introduced back in June. This works by tracking the position of the mobile device as it moves, and building its own understanding of the real world. Google Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 with Snapdragon 836 expected to be announced on October 5

Last year Google unveiled its Pixel smartphones on October 4th. This year it will unveil the second-generation Pixel phones powered by Snapdragon 836 on October 5th, according to @evleaks. Live images and earlier leaks of the phones already confirmed no 3.5mm headphone jack, front-facing stereo speakers, always-on display, squeezable frame, fingerprint sensor on the back and single rear camera for the phones.
