Google unveiled Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones at an event in San Francisco earlier this month. At that time is said that the phones will be available for pre-order in India from Flipkart online and over 1000 retail stores from October 26th. Today Flipkart has announced several pre-order offers and said that pre-orders will begin 26th October at 00:00 hrs and deliveries will begin November 1st for Pixel 2 and from November 2nd for Pixel 2 XL.
Earlier this year Google had announced that it would allow Add-ons for Gmail, and finally today, the company has launched native Add-on for Gmail. This will make the email service more engaging and business friendly.

Google on the October 4th event has introduced brand new smart speakers – Home and the Home Mini and also demoed new features including those for families and kids. Today, the company is adding around 50 new kids games, stories, activities and more to the Assistant on Home and smartphones designed especially for kids and family.

Apart from the muddy colors and grainy textures in low-light, people with Pixel 2 XL review units have started noticing yet problem which looks worrisome. When viewing the screen with the gray background, you can see faint outlines of the phone’s navigation buttons on the Google Pixel 2 XL.

After rolling out updates to Chrome for Windows earlier this week, Google is now rolling out an update to Chrome for Android. The Chrome 62 for Android brings new revamped Chrome U.I, HTTP warnings, Oreo notification channels and much more.
Google has updated the app to version number V7.14.15 which has bought customization feature to the search bar widget but turns out that’s not the only thing the update had to bring with it. A little teardown of the app by Android Police revealed more information about the Quartz which is slated to the Google-Home like device with the built-in display just like the Amazon Echo show.
At the ongoing Google annual Playtime developer event in Berlin and San Francisco, the company has a made a series of announcement for bettering the Google Play platform. Google introduced the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 on October 4th. One thing the company didn’t announce back then is the company’s first ever custom System-on-chipset (SoC) which is called Pixel Visual Core that is an image processing chipset is being revealed today. The purpose of the chipset is to accelerate the HDR+ images 5x faster.
Researchers have concluded that the WPA2 Wi-Fi protocol is vulnerable to attacks and the protocol has a severe weakness which lets hackers within the range of vulnerable device or access point to intercept passwords, e-mails, and other data and in some cases inject malware content into the website the person is visiting.
With an aim to improve the web browsing experience, Google is rolling out few basic antivirus features that will help in preventing malicious tools and browser extensions changing your default settings. Google is rolling out new features to Chrome for Windows that will alert the user in case of any suspicious behavior.

Google has officially mentioned that the original Quality unlimited photo uploads from the latest Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will have an expiration date of 2020, after which the picture upload will be allowed in slightly lower ‘high-quality’ resolution instead of Original. Google recently temporarily disabled the top button of the Home Mini post few reports from various sources which claimed that their Home mini speaker automatically starts listening at random occasions and sending the recording to the Google servers.
