We just heard from Asus India that they are launching the kick ass Asus Padfone along with the Transformer Pad TF300T in India next week. The PadFone is a innovative concept from Asus , a phone which can fit inside a tablet and you can use the phone like a tablet. If you wonder will you take calls when the phone is docked inside the tablet , it comes with a interesting bluetooth headset for the same.

Google’s $200 Android tablet, the Nexus 7, is a sweet little device that’s attracted a ton of press because of everything it can do for half the price of the iPad 2. Most folks get the $250 model with 16 GB of internal memory, but still, the $200 8 GB model can handle most people’s needs just fine. There’s a slight problem though. The Nexus 7 isn’t very useful if you try to use it outside your home since it can only connect to WiFi networks. If you live in a part of the world where you can connect to an open WiFi hotspot with little to no effort, then congratulations. Not everyone is so lucky. According to Paul O’Brien from MoDaCo, he says that Google will start selling a 3G enabled Nexus 7 in roughly six weeks. Asus has announced at IFA 2012 that it has renamed its Tablet 600 to Vivo Tab RT. It was originally announced at Computex in June. The specs would remain the same that includes a 10.1-inch (1366×768 pixels) Super IPS+ display with 10 fingers multi-touch panel, NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. I was recently in the US on a short visit and managed to pick up the Google Nexus 7 first Android Tablet to run on Android 4.1 JellyBean. Here is a quick unboxing video of the this tiny little tablet from Google & Asus which is priced at $199 (excluding tax and shipping). Google has announced it’s first Nexus branded tablet in partnership with Asus and it has announced the price of the 7 inch tablet. Consumers can order the tablet from the Google Play Store directly. Asus has posted demo videos of their PadFone that can dock into a tablet. They unveiled the PadFone last year and revealed the complete specs of the device earlier this year at MWC 2012. The PadFone comes with a 4.3-inch (960×540 pixels), Super AMOLED capacitive Multi touch display and the PadFone Station that docks the phone has 10.1-inch display.
