Google has announced that it is phasing out Chrome apps for Chrome apps on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Introduced in 2013, Google will kill these Chrome apps in early 2018.

Facebook is rolling out code to disable Adblock Plus’s workaround for unblocking ads

Earlier this week, Facebook announced that it will circumvent ad blockers on the desktop website. However, the ad blockers are clearly not happy with Facebook’s move and have struck back. Adblock Plus, a popular tool for blocking ads on the internet has rolled out a work around for Facebook’s ad blocking restrictions.
