Google Drive Material redesign arrives for iOS and Android to match its look on the web

Google is slowly but steadily revamping all its apps to suit the new Material Theme. In the recent development, the search engine giant is working a new look and feel on Google Drive for iOS and Android, making it easier to communicate and collaborate across files in Drive on mobile devices. WhatsApp data backups will no longer be counted against Google Drive storage limit

WhatsApp today announced that starting November 12, 2018, WhatsApp backups will no longer count towards the Google Drive storage quota and also the WhatsApp backups that haven’t been updated in more than one year will be automatically removed from Google Drive storage.
