Sony has announced the Xperia Z3 Compact at the IFA. The Z3 Compact has a 4.6-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) Triluminos Display with X-Reality engine, slightly larger than the Z1 Compact, powered by 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with Sony G lens, 4K video recording and a 2.2-megapixel 1080p front-facing camera, similar to the Xperia Z3. Sony mobile has just announced the Xperia Z3, the company’s latest flagship at the IFA 2014. It has the same 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Triluminos Display with Live Colour LED powered by X-Reality similar to the Z2, but the screen is more brighter 600 cd brightness and has smaller bezels on the sides. Samsung has announced the Galaxy Note Edge along with the Galaxy Note 4 at the IFA 2014. It has a 5.6-inch (1440 x 2560 pixels) QHD Super AMOLED display that bends on the right side that utilizes 160 pixels and gives you access to frequently used apps, alerts and device functionality even when the cover is closed with the swipe of a thumb. It is powered by a 2.7 quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with new Samsung UI. Acer has announced the Iconia Tab 10 A3-A20 tablet at the IFA 2014 as expected. It comes with a 10.1-inch full HD screen, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Meizu has finally announced the MX4, the company’s latest flagship smartphone. It has a 5.36-inch (1920 x 1152 pixels) IPS display with 15: 9 aspect ratio and 2.6mm slim bezels on the sides. The display has 85% increase in NTSC color gamut, 1100:1 contrast ratio and a brightness of up to 600 nit. It is powered by a 2.1 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6595 processor and runs on Flyme OS 4.0.
