Qualcomm has just announced its latest Snapdragon 865 Plus 5G Mobile Platform as an incremental upgrade to the Snapdragon 865 Mobile Platform. This packs Qualcomm Kryo 585 CPU Prime core clock speed at up to 3.1 GHz, offering 10% increase in CPU performance and the Adreno 650 GPU offers 10% faster graphics rendering compared to 865, while the other cores are same. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G with 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity Flex Display, Snapdragon 865+ gets certified

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5G smartphone with the model number SM-F7070 has been certified. This reveals that it could be powered by Snapdragon 865+ with prime core is clocked at 3.09GHz compared to 2.84GHz in the 865. Even the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note20+ is said to be powered by Snapdragon 865+ paired with Snapdragon X55 5G modem. Other specifications will be similar to the Z Flip 4G version, according to the listing. Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Benchmarks: How fast is this compared to Snapdragon 855 Plus?

Qualcomm introduced its flagship Snapdragon 865 Mobile platform at its Snapdragon Tech Summit 2019 earlier this month. The latest flagship SoC finally moves from A76 to A77-based Kryo 585 cores arranged in a tri-cluster architecture that includes one Kryo 585 Prime A77-based CPU clocked at up to 2.84GHz, three Kryo 585 Performance A77-based CPUs clocked at up to 2.42GHz and the other four Kryo 585 Efficiency A55-based CPUs are clocked at up to 1.80GHz. Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Octa-Core SoC gets benchmarked, beats Apple A12 Bionic in multi-core performance

Details about the upcoming Snapdragon 865 SoC from Qualcomm surfaced back in May, later in June, another rumor said that it will  come in two versions condenamed ‘Kona’ and ‘Huracan’, one with integrated X55 5G modem and the other one without it. Now the Snapdragon 865 ‘Kona’ SoC has surfaced on Geekbench. The prototype device runs Android 10 ‘Q’ and the phone has 6GB of RAM. Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 said to come in two variants, support LPDDR5X RAM

Update: Snapdragon 865 variants are said to come in two versions condenamed ‘Kona’ and ‘Huracan’, one with integrated X55 5G modem  and the other one without it. It is also said to support LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.0 storage.
