Nokia 7 Plus is one of the first set of devices to get Android 9.0 Pie beta when it is announced by the Google at I/O 2018. At the same event, Google announced the Digital Wellbeing feature which was made available in beta back in August. It was available only to Pixel smartphones running Android Pie. Google Drive gets new AI based ‘Priority’ page with intelligent file suggestions and organization

Google Keep for Android silently renamed to ‘Keep Notes’

Google has silently renamed its ‘Google Keep’ to “Keep Notes.” with the V5.0.371.03 that started rolling out on Monday. This tiny rebrand is visible on the home screen icon, launcher, and Android’s App Info page in system settings. However, the Google web app page still refers to the service as Google Keep, and the Play Store listing is yet to be updated. Google ‘Nocturne’ Pixelbook tablet with 8th gen Intel core processor surfaces

Google is rumored to launch new Pixelbook on October 9th at the Pixel event, while we have seen the Pixel 3 phones surface in the wild, we haven’t really gotten our eyes on Pixelbook successor. That ends today; we are now seeing what appears to be like a Pixelbook. It is a known fact that Google is said to be working on a censored search engine in China. Now according to a new report, the company has built a prototype of a censored search engine for China linking users’ searches to their personal phone numbers, making it easier for the Chinese government to monitor people’s queries. Chrome 70 beta brings fingerprint login support for Web Authentication on Android and Mac, enables TLS 1.3 and more

Chrome has been updated to V70 beta as the V69 is finally stable. This beta is not as big as the previous version but has security-focused features. Chrome 67 for desktop has added web authentications which will allow sites to use fingerprint or a Bluetooth key as the sole login method. This API is now enabled by default on Android.
