ACT launched its Gigabit broadband services in Chennai this week. It has also upgraded its plans for users as well at no extra cost, in just 3 months after the last upgrade. In most plans speeds have also been upgraded. ACT Fibernet’s Retail 1999 plan now comes with 250Mbps speed up from 200Mbps even though the 2TB FUP remains the same.
After Bengaluru and Hyderabad, ACT Fibernet has upgraded its plans for Chennai users as well at no extra cost, about 9 months after the last upgrade. In some plans speeds have also been upgraded, and ACT has also introduced a new Blast Promo plan that offers 100Mbps speed and 1000GB FUP. ACT Fibernet’s Retail 1999 plan now offers 2TB (download+upload) of FUP, and the speed has been upgraded to 200Mbps.
After Delhi, ACT Fibernet has upgraded its plans for Chennai, for the second time this year, after it was upgraded in April. Speed of the plans remain the same, but the monthly data limit of both download and upload is now combined and is not counted separately. For example, the Rs. 1999 with 150Mbps speed and 350GB download and 350GB upload limit now comes with combined limit of 700GB. Normally ACT doesn’t mention the data uploaded separately on the site or the app, now it should be easy to track. After Hyderabad and Bengaluru, ACT (Atria Convergence Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) has upgraded its existing internet plans by offering more speed speeds and data limits for its customers in Chennai. This is the third upgrade for Chennai customers, since plans were upgraded in October 2015 and again last year. ACT (Atria Convergence Technologies Pvt. Ltd.), popular for its Fiber Optic broadband has revised their tariffs for their ACT Fibernet customers in Chennai. It revised tariffs and introduced new plans for Fibernet customers in Hyderabad recently. In Chennai 100Mbps plan now costs Rs. 1,999. Previously 100Mbps plan was only available for SOHO (Small office / Home Office) customers. The base ACT Blaze plan for Rs. 999 now offers 40Mbps speed with 50GB FUP and there is new 75Mbps ACT Thunder plan for Rs. 1,499 with 125GB FUP limit. There is no change in speed post the FUP limit in retail plans, now all SOHO plan customers now get 2Mbps speed post FUP.
