ACT Fibernet revises tariffs in Chennai, 100Mbps plan now at Rs. 1999

ACT (Atria Convergence Technologies Pvt. Ltd.), popular for its Fiber Optic broadband has revised their tariffs for their ACT Fibernet customers in Chennai. It revised tariffs and introduced new plans for Fibernet customers in Hyderabad recently. In Chennai 100Mbps plan now costs Rs. 1,999. Previously 100Mbps plan was only available for SOHO (Small office / Home Office) customers. The base ACT Blaze plan for Rs. 999 now offers 40Mbps speed with 50GB FUP and there is new 75Mbps ACT Thunder plan for Rs. 1,499 with 125GB FUP limit.  There is no change in speed post the FUP limit in retail plans, now all SOHO plan customers now get 2Mbps speed post FUP.

These plans are available only for Chennai customers currently and are effective starting from today, October 20th. All the existing customers using old plans will be upgraded to new plans without additional cost. It is not clear when the company will revise tariffs for other cities.
