Twitter for Windows Phone updated with Dark Theme option and Lock Screen highlights
It’s been a while since the official Twitter for Windows Phone app got its updates. It had unsurprisingly missed the conversation thread update iOS and Android received. While that feature has still evaded the platform, we have news of an update for the app. The app now arguably brings more choices and interesting changes to the Twitter experience on your Windows Phone. Most notable of the new additions are the new dark theme option and lock screen highlights. Users can now choose between a light and dark theme and have Twitter set as the lock screen picture(using Windows Phone 8’s unique feature) to show recent highlights from your feed.

S Mobility has launched the Smart Flo Pace 3 Mi-502n, the company’s latest smartphone in the Smart Flo series. The Spice Smart Flo Pace 2 Mi-502 was launched back in April, and this has a similar 5-inch (480 x 800 Pixels) capacitive touch screen display. This is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flah and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Vodafone plans to increase its stake in the Indian unit

Vodafone in planning to buy out minority shareholders in its Indian arm for about US$2 billion, according to a recent report from the Financial Times. Vodafone owns about 64% of Vodafone India. Piramal Healthcare run by Billionaire industrialist Ajay Piramal has 11% stake and the remaining 25% stake is controlled by undisclosed minority shareholders. Apple iPhone 5s dock Unboxing and Demo
We had unboxed the brand new Apple iPhone 5s from Hong Kong a while back and were left impressed with the new Touch ID sensor. While looking for matching accessories for the 5s we picked up the official iPhone 5s dock from the Apple Store along with other accessories. These docks have been a long time companion for iPhones and have been selling for each model. The 5’s dock was the first one to sport a lightning connector and the 5s’ dock is no different. Amazon now shipping Chromecast to India and other countries outside USA

If you were looking to get hold of the Google Chromecast which went on sale few months back , we have some good news for you. Initially this device was on sale only in the US and available only through Google Play , Amazon , Best Buy and few other retailers in the US for about $35. Now Amazon is shipping the device even to India and it works out to roughly $53 including shipping charges and import duty. Pretty good deal if you are looking to get yourself a Chromecast. HTC One Gold limited edition unveiled for 2,750 GBP

Apple introduced the iPhone 5s gold edition recently, BlackBerry launched the Q10 Gold Edition and even Samsung joined the party with the Galaxy S4 Gold edition in Gold Brown and Gold Pink colors. Now HTC has unveiled the Gold HTC One. Unlike the other gold colored phones, this one is made of 18 carat gold and costs 2,750 GBP ( Rs. 2.72 lakhs approx.). Celkon has launched Campus A15, a new smartphone in the Campus series. The company launched the Campus A10 recently with 3G support. The Campus A15 has an entry-level smartphone with 2G support, which is also the cheapest smartphone from Celkon. It has a 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) similar to the Campus A10. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and has dual SIM support with dual standby. It comes pre-loaded with Interactive games and Zapya sharing app that lets you shake to trasfer data. HTC One Max to finally launch on October 16th, comes with a fingerprint scanner
The HTC One Max might be one of the most leaked devices ever, with virtually everything known before its launch. It was rumoured to have launched at IFA, but the company seems to have finally fixed on a date for the official reveal. According to a Taiwanese invite, the One Max is all set to launch on October 18th, in Taiwan, and the existence of a finger print scanner has been subtly hinted on the invite. The invite reads –

Samsung Galaxy J with 5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 800 processor and 3GB RAM leaked

NTT Docomo is all set to announce their winter product line-up on the 10 October. Sony Xperia Z1 f (SO-02F) / Honami mini , a mid-range phone surfaced recently, which is also expected to be headed to NTT Docomo in Japan. Now the Samsung Galaxy J (SC-02F) , a high-end smartphone has leaked by a Korean blog. Samsung released the Galaxy S4 LTE-A for Korea back in June with a Snapdragon 800 chip, the Galaxy J is also rumored to come with a similar chip. BlackBerry has announced multi-platform cloud-based enterprise mobility management (EMM) solution to manage users and apps on Android, iOS and BlackBerry. Announced at the Gartner Symposium ITxpo 2013, this is aimed at both business and end user needs. This doesn’t require any IT experience, servers, or software, says BlackBerry. The company already launched BlackBerry Mobile Fusion, multi-platform Mobile Device Management (MDM) for BlackBerry , Android and iOS devices, and recently released BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 Version 10.1 for Business users. Sony Xperia Z1 Benchmarks

Sony launched the Xperia Z1, their latest flagship Android phone with a 5-inch 1080p display and a Snapdragon 800 processor in India recently. We brought you the unboxing of the device recently. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. The device is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) 28nm HPm quad-core Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.2 GHz and Adreno 330 GPU. As you can see on the image above CPU-Z says that it is clocked at 2.15 GHz. The Xperia Z Ultra was also powered by the same chip. Let’s find out how it compares with other high-end devices in various synthetic benchmark tests.

Micromax Canvas Tab Review

Micromax launched the Canvas Tab P650, the company’s first tablet in the Canvas series last month. We brought you the unboxing last week, here we have the complete review of the tablet. This is one of the first Android tablet to feature a 4:3 display. This is also the first tablet from Micromax to pack a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8389 processor.
