The Redmi Note 3 is powered by MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795) SoC with 8 ARM Cortex-A53 64-bit CPUs clocked at 1.95GHz per core and has PowerVR G6200 GPU. It packs 3GB of RAM, 5.5-inch 1080p display and runs on MIUI 7 based on Android 5.0.2 (Lollipop). Check out the synthetic benchmarks scores.

First render of the Microsoft Lumia 650 smartphone codenamed Saana surfaced back in October, now a new render of the smartphone in White color has surfaced in China (Via). It reveals that the smartphone will have a 5-inch HD screen, as earlier rumors revealed. The date on the lockscreen shows 13th December, so the smartphone can be expected by the end of this month. Google is rolling out a new Night Light feature for the Google Play Books app that will hep you read more comfortably during night time without straining your eyes. “Looking at reading time across the world, we see that activity peaks between 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm local time. But we also know looking at a bright screen before bed can be hard on your eyes,” said Google on the official Android blog. At the Google for India event in Delhi, Google announced that it will release a new feature called Tap to Translate that allows the instant translation of any text on the Android phone. This new feature, you can copy text anywhere on your Android phone and instantly get the translation. Google said that the Translate app will also be updated to offer real time translation in Hindi. It demoed the real-time translation and Tap to Translate features at the event.

Good launched YouTube Offline in India for Android and iOS in India back in December last year, after it was announced at the Android One even in September so that people can watch videos without Internet access after downloading them. Today, at the Google for India event in Delhi, the company announced that it will launch a new YouTube feature that will improve buffering when videos are paused. Google announced back in September that it will launch a new project to provide high-speed public Wi-Fi in 400 train stations across India, with 100 stations operational by the end of 2016. At the Google for India press event in Delhi, Google said that it is is working with Indian Railways and Railtel to launch RailWire Wifi to provide free WiFi in train stations in January 2016. At the Google for India event today in Delhi, Caesar Sengupta, Product Management Director, Google said that Asus will launch its Chromebit compact stick running Chrome OS in India in January 2016. The Chromebit plugs directly into the HDMI port on a TV or monitor to turn it into a desktop PC offering 1080p output. It is compact and has a fan-less design. Airtel has launched its 4G LTE services in Salem, Tamil Nadu, after it launched it in Chennai, Pondicherry, Vellore, Trichy, Madurai, Coimbatore, Tirupur & Tirunelveli. Airtel launched 4G services in 296 towns across India in August. Airtel 4G is available to customers across mobile phones, dongles, 4G hotspots and Wi-Fi dongles in the city. Reliance Jio Infocomm, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) already said that it plans to launch commercial 4G around December. Now a new report from Bank of America Merrill Lynch says that it expects a small scale launch of Reliance Jio Infocomm’s 4G services by the end of December in select areas, especially in Mumbai, according to ET.
