Update: August 23, 2019 – Redmi GM Lu Weibing today posted a comparison chart that shows AnTuTu Benchmark 8 comparison between the Helio G90T, Kirin 810 and Snapdragon 710. This shows Helio G90T powered Redmi Note 8 has scored 283,333 points and is placed well above the Kirin 710, but it couldn’t beat the Kirin 810, which is slightly better. Snapdragon 730G should offer almost similar AnTuTu 8 scores as the Kirin 810.

Now MediaTek has confirmed that its latest Helio G90T 12nm SoC will power the Redmi Note 8 Pro, as rumored earlier. The Redmi Note 8 could be powered by Helio G90.
