Redmi Note 8 Pro will come with exclusive gaming accessories; Liquid cooling, 64MP camera details teased


Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has started revealing more details about the upcoming Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone. The company today shared an image of a gamepad and said that the phone will have support for game accessories. It also said that it has all the qualities of a gaming phone including smooth gaming in high frame rates, liquid cooling,  network optimization, smooth touchscreen experience and long battery life.

The company already confirmed that the phone will support liquid cooling. Today it has posted a new image and said that liquid cooling will reduce the temperature of the phone by 4 to 6 degrees compared to other models that don’t have it, when gaming.

Earlier today it revealed that the phone powered by MediaTek Helio G90T has scored 283,333 points on AnTuTu 8 offering better performance compared to Snapdragon 710, but it couldn’t beat the Kirin 810 SoC.

Regarding the phone’s 64MP camera, Redmi GM said that the camera will offer an image resolution of 9248×6936, which offering about 34% more optical information than 48MP. It is nearly twice the resolution of the future 8K, 7.7 times that of 4K Ultra HD and will offer 25 times incredibly clear images than that of 1080P Full HD. He also said that there is no need for a telephoto lens, since you can use the 64MP mode to capture image and crop the image later which will offer output that is near-perfect to optical zoom.

The phone will offer night mode similar to earlier Redmi phones with support four-in-one pixel binning, effectively offering 1.6μm large pixels for a better quality output. This has 1/1.7-inch photosensitive components, which the largest mobile phone camera sensor on a smartphone, as the company revealed earlier.

We should know more details about the Note 8 series before they go official on August 29th.
