Xiaomi launched the Redmi 4 and Redmi 4A in India last year running MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), and got it MIUI MIUI 9 as well as Android Nougat updates later. Today it has started rolling out MIUI 10 Stable update for both the smartphones.
The new update comes as MIUI 10.1.1.0.NAMMFI for the Redmi 4 and is about 316MB in size. It comes as 10.1.1.0.NCCMIFI for the Redmi 4A, which is 268MB. These are based on Android 7.1.2 (Nougat).Xiaomi has not updated the Android security patch on Redmi 4A and it runs on July, 2018 security patch, while Redmi 4 has October, 2018 security patch.
