LG just sent out invites for the launch of its flagship V30+ smartphone in India on December 13th. The V30+ comes with 128GB storage compared to 64GB on the V30. It has a 6-inch (1440 × 2880 pixels) QHD+ OLED FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio and narrow bezels, is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform and runs Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) with LG UX 6.0+, which is upgradable to Android 8.0 (Oreo).

LG Electronics has reported revenues of 15.22 trillion won (US$ 13.44 billion) in the third quarter that ended September 30, 2017, which is up 15.12% compared to the same quarter last year. This is due to strong sales in home entertainment and appliances sector despite the gloomy business environment resulting from increasing international trade concerns, said LG. It has reported operating income of 516.1 billion won (US$ 455.7 million), up 82.26% for the same quarter in 2016, as it had reported in preliminary results. LG Electronics has reported preliminary quarterly earnings for third quarter of 2017. It expects increase 82.2% YoY increase in operating profit in Q3 with most revenue coming from home appliances and TV business. With an operating profit of 516.1 billion won ($454 million) in the period of July-September, the revenue is expected to rise up at least by 15.2% higher than the same period last year. LG today at the India Mobile Congress 2017 in New Delhi launched the LG K7i smartphone with Mosquito Away Technology that will keep mosquitoes away by creating Ultrasonic noise inaudible to human with the Mosquito Away cover that has a separate hardware built into it. It also comes with a Mosquito Away Stand. You also get a normal back cover with the phone. LG claims that this is the first phone in the world to feature this technology. LG launched the Q6 smartphone with 5.5-inch FHD+ FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio, facial recognition and military grade durability in India last month. Today it has launched the LG Q6+ with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage in the country. All other specifications of the phone are same as the Q6. It runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) and has a 7000 series aluminum frame.
