LG just announced the company’s flagship G7 ThinQ smartphone at an event in New York, as it had promised. It has a 6.1-inch QHD+ 19.5:9 FullVision LCD Super Bright display that can be viewed easily even under direct sunlight with brightness up to 1,000 nit, displaying 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. The bottom bezel is almost 50 percent slimmer than on the LG G6, says LG. It is powered by Snapdragon 845 with up to 6GB RAM (G7+ ThinQ).
Ahead of official unveiling on May 2nd, LG has started revealing more details about the smartphone. Last week it confirmed that the phone will have 1000-nits display, now it has revealed that the phone will feature Boombox speaker that will offer ten times louder sound compared to other phones, and also bass of more than 6 decibels (dB), two times more compared to existing smartphones.

The phone will have a 6.1-inch (3120X1440 pixels) QHD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and whopping 1000 nits brightness that will let you view the content clearly even under bright sunlight. It will also offer 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. LG calls it ‘Super Bright Display’.

It shows a notched display, metal unibody design, 3.5mm audio jack on the bottom, SIM slot on the top, antenna lines on the top and the bottom and a dedicated Google Assistant button below the volume rockers on the left. The fingerprint sensor is present on the back.
Verizon has pushed a new update to LG V30 which brings A.I cam and ThinQ branding. The update brings the software version VS99620b along with features. After updating, the start screen of the device will now show LG V30ThinQ branding instead of LG V30. This is to reflect the new artificial intelligence integration.
