LG unveils UltraGear 240Hz Curved OLED Gaming Monitor and UltraFine Display Ergo AI

At IFA 2022 in Berlin, Germany, LG said that it will introduce its newest premium monitors, such as the UltraGear OLED gaming display (model 45GR95QE). The 45-inch LG curved OLED panel, which has a 240Hz refresh rate, is the company’s first and provides the visual performance, speed, and functionality that professional gamers need.

It is built for immersive gaming experiences. This year’s IFA will also show off the new UltraGear and the UltraFine Display Ergo AI (model 32UQ890), which can be set up in any way the user wants for more comfort at home or at work. Earlier, LG showed off a ‘Table-Type’ Air Purifier ahead of IFA 2022.

UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitor

The 45GR95QE is LG’s first 45-inch curved OLED gaming monitor with a 21:9 aspect ratio and WQHD (3440 x 1440) resolution. It’s also the company’s first display with a 45-inch screen size and 800R curvature. The 45GR95QE supports 240Hz refresh rate and 0.1 millisecond Gray-to-Gray (GTG) response time, as well as 98.5 percent DCI-P3 colour space coverage, improved HDR10 performance, HDMI 2.1 (with VRR) and DisplayPort 1.4.

The new UltraGear’s huge size, 21:9 aspect ratio, borderless design, and 800R screen curvature enable users to get into PC or console games. It’s the perfect size for most desks and supports Picture-by-Picture (PBP) and Picture-in-Picture multitasking (PIP). LG’s Anti-glare & Low Reflection coating and 800R curvature. LG’s industry-leading OLED display technology reduces eye strain during long gaming sessions.

UltraFine Display Ergo AI

IFA 2022 will see the launch of LG’s UltraFine Display Ergo AI. The 32UQ890 is the first LG monitor that automatically adjusts for ergonomic comfort. The UltraFine Display Ergo AI, which includes a built-in camera and powerful AI, can continuously assess the user’s posture, making small changes to screen height (0 – 160mm) and tilt (-20o – 20o) to prevent users from remaining in one position for too long or falling into poor posture over time.

AI Motion, Continuous Motion, and Periodic Motion all improve 32UQ890 ergonomics. LG’s UltraFine Panel Ergo AI is a 31.5-inch 4K IPS display that can show HDR images and covers 95% of the DCI-P3 colour space. The 32UQ890 has a high-quality screen with a high resolution and an adjustable stand that can be changed by LG’s AI technology.
