LG Electronics has announced the global rollout of the LG StanbyME 2, an updated version of its 2023 lifestyle display. This model features a 27-inch screen that detaches from its stand with a single click, allowing different placement options.
Wall-mounting is supported, and strap accessories enable use as a framed wall clock or ambient display. The screen supports both portrait and landscape orientations. The built-in battery provides up to 4 hours of video playback without external power and can be recharged via the docking stand or a USB-C cable.
The 27-inch QHD display (2560 x 1440) delivers clear visuals. Built-in side speakers adjust audio output based on screen orientation—landscape, portrait, or tabletop. Powered by LG’s α8 AI Processor, the device adjusts visuals to ambient lighting and outputs 9.1.2-channel virtual surround sound through the speakers. It supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos formats.
The screen includes hands-free voice control and runs on webOS TV, providing streaming through LG Channels. It also supports Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, LG ThinQ, and Google Home integration, and includes the Mood Maker and Let’s Draw apps.
